This apartment is situated in a quiet area of Sao Martinho do Porto. The town is situated on a perfect semi-circle shaped beach which is an excellent and safe swimming environment for children. The seafront is lined with bars and restaurants and also includes a lovely childrens playground. There is a market everday (except Mondays) and there is a small supermarket too. A short drive from many attractions on the Silver Coast makes Sao Martinho do Porto the perfect base for your independent Portguese holiday.

Flexible changeover day depending on availability. Arrival time after 4pm - Departure must be before 10 am but please ask if you require later departure - depending on availability we will try and accommodate your request.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has excellent finishes including air-conditioning, central sound system, electric thermal window shutters, video-phone entry system. Door to main building is secure (pin number needed to enter). The apartment is on the ground floor but due to the type of construction, the windows are situated high off the ground ensuring a good level of security.

Access to the apartment is gained via two sets of small steps.

The apartment enjoys a small childrens play area and shared pool. Sun loungers are also available. Parking at or near the apartment is available.

10 minute stroll to the beach at Sao Martinho do Porto.
15 minute to drive to Nazare with its long sandy beach.
15 minutes to the beautiful lagoon beach at Foz do Arelho - water sports.
Golf
Praia d'el Rey (18 holes) is approx 20km away.
Rio Maior (18 holes) is approx 50km away.

Car hire recommended.
Lisbon airport - 1 hour drive.
Porto airport - 2.5 - 3 hours drive.

15 minute drive to Caldas da Rainha - Spa town, shopping, two large supermarkets here.
20 minute drive to Obidos - truly wonderful walled medieval town.
25 minutes to Alcobaca - large monastery town.
15 minutes drive to Nazare - wonderful beach and seafood restaurants.
40 minutes drive to Peniche - surfing and great food.
Further details
Sao Martinho do Porto is served by a railway station and bus services to Lisbon (8.50 euro one way). There are banks, several restaurants, bars and local shops.

Balance required 8 weeks prior to dates booked plus £100 key/breakages deposit (refundable on safe return and satisfactory housekeeping report).
