Its location in the center of Portugal and the nearby highways means that most interesting places to visit are within a 2 hours drive, like the Douro Wine Region (10 minutes), Viseu and Vila Real (30 minutes), Aveiro, Porto, Braga, Chaves (90 minutes), Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Viana do Castelo, Braganca (2 hours).

Further details
The village has a beautiful river, with cascades, mills and springs, ideal for long walks. It also has a XII century monastery, with beautiful paintings. We suggest a tour of the Douro wine region, with a boat tour and a steam train ride alongside the Douro river. A visit to the Douro wine cellars with some wine tasting is hugely recommended. We can also book such activities as kayak, paintball, bycicle ride, canyoning, climbing, ATV rides.

Payment to be made in euros by bank transfer. Deposit of 25% on booking, balance on arrival. All expenses related with sending the deposit and balance money, are paid by the guests.
