Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning. Direct marina access through locked gate from raised ground floor terrace. No need for a car, but there is secure underground parking. Apt has just been completely refurbished (April 2009).
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Olympic size swimming pool surrounded by gardens which have sunbeds and umbrellas for residents use only. Dining table and chairs on upper terrace. Sunbeds on lower terrace.

Very interesting local market in Quarteira (weekly). Easy drives to Faro, Loule, Albufeira, Portimao, Silves, Monchique and Lagos. Short drive to Almancil, Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Further details
Good local supermarkets, (although Apolonia in Almancil is well worth a visit) banks, shops in and around marina. Boat trips, fishing trips, and water sports freely available. Quad biking and wine tasting.
