The Villa which is a gated property is situated in an elevated position between the two villages of Ribamar and S Lourenço. From both the lower and upper balconies the Villa looks out onto the stunning views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean with views of the countryside, small fruit tree orchards and vineyards to the back of the property. On the first floor is a delightful living area where guests can meet. This is cool in summer and warm in winter round the cosy log fire. In addition there is a TV room with games and wi-fi internet access. The breakfast area and adjoining balcony where breakfast can be taken overlooks the pool and Ocean. The rooms are light and airy with marble and stone tiled floors which invite you to take off your shoes and walk barefooted admiring the views.

We have 1 room that can have an extra bed at an extra cost.
Notes on accommodation
Smoking is not allowed in the house.
All rooms are cool in summer and central heated in winter months.
There is a separate entrance to the owners private accommodation so the rooms can be rented individually or as a whole unit on the upper floor making it ideal for a group up to 10.
Accessibility
A steep drive and steps make it unsuitable for the mobility impaired to gain access to the property.
Outside
In the grounds there is a large private eco-friendly salt pool which overlooks the beach and ocean.We also have outdoor table tennis.
Coast/Beach
The S Lourenço beach and the Atlantic Ocean are an easy 7 minute stroll away. The beach like most in the area is a blue flag beach and has a full time life guard, with an excellent beach cafe and nearby restaurant.
The next beach has a surf school (2km).
Ericeira (3km) is a quaint fishing village recently voted the best quality of life in Portugal and has three very popular beaches.
In addition there are many other beaches in the area all within a 15 to 30 minute drive.
Golf
The Lisbon Silver Coast area boasts numerous champion golf courses several of which are within a easy 30 minute drive. We would be only to glad to help arrange your bookings.
Special interest holidays
We can arrange a special week where a local artist will give lessons on the correct use of oils & you can sit on our balcony & paint the wonderful view.
Any outdoor sports can be arranged using local professional companies.
Travel
Lisbon airport is 45 minutes away via a quiet motorway.
Distances
Villa Vista is in the outskirts of a small village which has 14 quality restaurants. Ericeira the nearest town is 3kms away, Mafra & the Palace are 10 kms away, Sintra is 25 kms away, Obidos is 40kms away.

There are 14 restautrants specialising in Seafood & shellfish in the village of Ribamar and a further 50 plus in Ericeira.
We are also in a good position to visit Mafra Palace, Sintra Palaces and museums, Obidos a medieval wall town

About the owner
A late 50´s lively character, I am a keen sportsman who teaches badminton locally (you are welcome to join in), I have played Rugby, Basketball and raced cars.
When you arrive you will be offered a welcome drink of beer, tea or coffee and we will have a change to chat.
There will be an opportunity to find out about the area & get recommended restaurants & places to visit. There is always some fun to be had at Viila Vista we try not to take life too seriously. You arrive as guests and leave Villa Vista as friends.
Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
We fell in love with the house, then we went 120 kms North & South and visited all the beaches & we decided that this was the best area for us to live & run a luxury Bed & Breakfast.
This is an ideal location to visit the wonderful Museums, Palaces & places of interest in Lisbon, Sintra, Obidos, Fatima, Batalha & Alcobaca.
Then there are the sports you can do including surf at the best beaches in Europe, take great coastal walks,
or you could simply relax & recharge your batteries. Ericeira has been voted the best quality of live in Portugal with its many cafes & restaurants where you can sit & watch the world go by.

Our village of Ribamar has 14 quality inexpensive restaurants many that are well known throughout the region for their fresh shellfish.
You can use the large private not overlooked pool or sunbathe or just sit on the sea view balcony enjoying the spectacular view.
With a long drive & electric gate you get secure private parking.
