Luxury very spacious new 2 bedroom apartment in Burgau with sea views and close proximity to the beach. Brand new apartment block completed in 2007. It's close to the beach and amenities yet remains quiet and peaceful. The apartment overlooks the shared pool and has sea views. Burgau is a very quiet still very Portuguese fishing village offering a range of restaurants and other facilities as well as a good quality safe beach. 5 mins drive to the east of Burgau lies Luz offering alternate restaurants and a good quality family beach with water sports. West of Burgau is the national park offering a number of quieter beaches and tranquil walks. Further down the coast is Salema and Sagres. The west coast with its range of top quality surfing beaches is accessible via a drive across the country of about 45 minutes.

Further details
Burgau is a quiet peacful fishing village with a lovely safe beach. It has basic shopping facilities for provisions and a range of good restaurants.
Large supermarkets and banking needs can be met in Luz (5 mins drive) or Lagos (20 mins) drive.
Swimming and water sports:
South coast (Algarve) the sea is generally pretty flat and so very safe and family friendly.
Luz beach (5 mins drive) has a range of water sports incl Windsurfing, Wake boarding, sailing and the usual inflatable draggables.

Runners:
Luz via coastal route and back 10k
Salema via challenging ciff top route and back 10k
Cyclists:
Cycling on the main roads is relatively safe given the availability of a hard shoulder lane.
Sagres is an easy 2 hour ride.
Further more challenging rides up the west coast are also available.
Booking notes
25% non-refundable deposit required to confirm reservation. Balance and returnable deposit of £200 to cover breakages to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
For bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival, the full amount and returnable deposit is due at the time of booking.
