Private pool approx 8x4 (1m at the shallow end and 1.8m at the deep end), 6 adjustable sunloungers with padded covers, chairs, patio tables and parasols (1 set for poolside and 1 for roof terrace). Large hardwood dining table with matching chairs and cushion seats for covered dining area. Gas barbecue. Garden surrounds the villa with covered terrace as well as terrace surrounding pool. There is a large table with 8 chairs, 6 loungers with mattresses as well as smaller tables.
Coast/Beach
The villa is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches, or 2 minutes bike ride.
Golf
The Algarve is a paradise for golfers with many excellent courses within easy distance.
Golf discounts are available through Dunas Douradas main reception (ask for prices for the season) on 7 local courses as follows:-
South and North Course - Quinta do Lago. Pinheiros Altos. Vila Sol. Vilamoura I (Old Course). Vilamoura II (Pinhal). Vilamoura III (Laguna). Millenium. Quinta RIA/CIMA. Benamor. Castro Marim.
Special interest holidays
In addition to your own private pool, the resort offers a large Roman style pool (communal), children's pool, 24 reception, tennis courts (charge), bar/cafe, mini market and an excellent restaurant. During high season barbecues and live music are organised.
Travel
Dunas Douradas is approx 20 mins away from Faro Airport. A rental car is recommended but not essential.
Distances
Almancil, about 10 minutes drive away, has all shopping needs, although there are smaller supermarkets close by.
There are local markets to visit, Dunas Douradas office can give information of such events.
Further details
There are many water parks only moments away such as Zoomarine, where you can swim with dolphins, and enjoy a perfect family day out. Also there is go-kart racing in Almancil for infants and juniors.
