This new luxury, well equipped apartment sleeps 4, has a large private terrace facing the beautiful Algarve sunsets and Ria Formosa national park, is on the edge of the traditional unspoiled fishing village of Santa Luzia 3km west of Tavira. The vast beach on the Isla Tavira, with restaurants, and excellent facilities is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the lagoon or a short ferry ride from the centre of the village.

Coast/Beach
The vast beach on the Isla Tavira is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the lagoon and across a floating foot bridge. Or another section can be accessed by a ferry taken from the village.
The Isla Tavira forms part of the Ria Formosa national park, so is a wild life sanctuary, home to many wading birds.
Golf
There are many golf courses on the Algarve, take your pick...
Special interest holidays
Twitchers will be delighted with the bird life as the apartment is 100 yds from the 45000 acre Ria Formosa national park, famed for it's salt-marshes and lagoons. Storks, flamingoes, spoonbills, hoopoes, bee-eaters and many more species can be seen.
Travel
Faro Airport is a 40 minute taxi ride, we have a driver that will pick you up from the airport by prior arrangement. Approx 45 euros.
Distances
The beautiful ancient fishing port of Tavira is 3 km east, with a gamut of lovely boutiques shops a market. Hailed as the most beautiful town on the Algarve.
Further details
We aim to make our apartment feel a home away from home and have included a selection of DVDs and books should you require a rest from all those restaurants. We will also leave a selection of basics such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar etc. We ask you to replace these items as they are used.
Booking notes
The arrival time on the start day of your holiday must be no earlier than 3pm and the departure time on the last day of your holiday must be no later than 10am. A 25% deposit of the total cost is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable at least 8 weeks before your holiday begins.
