Coast/Beach
11km to Armacao de Pera, and 25 minutes to many other great beaches including Ferragudo, Portimao, Gale and Lagos. Most beaches offer restaurants and water activities.
Golf
10 minutes to Pestana golf course, two eighteen hole Nick Faldo courses opening January '08 on our doorstep, and whole host of others in our area.
Travel
Fly into Faro (40 min drive), or Lisbon (two hours drive, but better international connections).

Silves 7 km, Algoz 4km, Armacao de Pera 11km.

Algarve shopping mall 15 minutes drive. 2 waterparks nearby. Seville in Spain, two hour door to door drive - great theme park for the kids.
