It is close (2-3 min.walk) to the beach with its beautiful sandy coves and spectacular cliff formations, it has water sports and many bars and restaurants. The apartment is set in a privately owned 3 storey building, on the ground floor, instead of a balcony it has a very cosy terrace joined from the 2 bedrooms, you have total privacy to enjoy the sun or have a BBQ on a nice warm evening. The apartment also has sole use of a big roof terrace, where you have spectacular views of the old town Albufeira and the Atlantic Ocean. A 1 min walk brings you to the town square of Albufeira, with all kinds of shops, chemists, post office etc. and not to forget the many bar and restaurants, you are spoilt for choice, in the evening there is life music, or you can go to a nightclub or disco, Albufeira is famous for its great night life.

Notes on accommodation
This property is suitable for children and elderly people, there are only 3 steps from the street to the apartment.
Even though the apartment is situated in the heart of Albufeira you will not have sleepless nights from traffic, all bedrooms are facing away from the road.

Outside
Outside on the ground terrace you will find a BBQ, tables and chairs and a couple of sunloungers and a hangmat, it is an excellent spot to relax in peace. The roof terrace also has a table with chairs and a sunlounger it is also totally private with great views.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a very short walk (2 minutes) along the same street as the apartment is situated. Since Albufeira is situated so close to the coast you are spoilt for choice of beaches, entertainment, watersport, bars & restaurant and not to forget the most important the Sun !
Golf
The nearest golf course is a 7 minutes drive. Vilamoura golf course 10-15 minutes drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro airport, a short drive (25-30 min.)by hire car or taxi situated just outside the arrival hall.
A hire car (or use of car) is not essential.
Distances
Albufeira is situated in the middle of the Algarve, centrally placed to explore to the west, Lagos Marina, Sagres (the most western point in Europe). Inland Silves castle and Monchique with its beautiful mountains. To the east Tavira and the border to Spain is less than an hours drive.
Further details
Boat trips offering grotto tours, champagne cruises, big game fishing, dolphin watching departs daily from Albufeira Marina.
Just outside the village of Guia you will find Zoo Marine with arctic shows etc. Krazy world just outside Algoz has 2 big mini golf courses, zoo with reptiles, petting farm, big pool area etc.
3 large waterparks are all within 20-30min drive.
