Casa da Cova is an individually designed secluded villa, within a short driving distance of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. Conveniently placed for the famous beaches and shops and golf courses of the area, the villa is set in its own walled garden offering complete privacy with a large swimming pool, a tennis court and extensive gardens. An ideal family villa that is also suitable for the disabled and is wheel chair friendly. Other amenities in the local area include an equestrian centre, a golf driving range and a good choice of tennis facilities including two professional coaching centres. There are several routes to the beach but the most memorable is across a long wooden bridge across the nature reserve: on the other side is a good restaurant, golden dunes and a very long beach.

Notes on accommodation
This villa is suitable for two families sharing and is on ground level with easy access to the pool and the gardens.
Accessibility
Easy access for wheelchairs with wide hallway and spacious rooms. Small step from the bedrooms to the outside areas but ramps can be provided for wheelchairs. Very large flat garden for easy access.
Outside
The pool patio area has 8 sunbeds and outdoor dining area. There is a large seperate BBQ area and seating to the side of the house. The swimming pool is approx 11 x 5 metre and is in the sun all day and is for the sole use for the villa. There is also a private tennis court.
Coast/Beach
Quinta do Lago is a spectacular unspoiled area of over 1700 acres of natural pine forest, grassland and lakes. The area includes part of the Ria Formosa nature reserve and is fronted by a 10km stretch of golden sands. There are several routes to the beach but the most memorable is across a long wooden bridge across the nature reserve: on the other side is a good restaurant, golden dunes and a very long beach. The beaches of the area are a 5 minute drive from the villa.
Golf
There are four golf courses in Quinta do Lago and two more in the adjoining area of Vale de Lobo and one in Pineiros Altos. These are all within a 5 minute drive from the villa. Golf T times can be arranged. On the lake in Quinta do Lago there is sailing, a windsurfing school.
Travel
The local airport is Faro. The drive time from the airport is approx 12 minutes. A hire car is recommended.

Booking notes
A 20% deposit must be paid when making the booking, with the balance being paid at least 4 weeks prior to travelling. We don't take credit cards.
