An excellently located villa with great sea views across to Portimao. Modern and very comfortable for up to 6 people with light and airy rooms with air-conditioning. It has a lovely private garden with sea views and sitting areas all around including private roof top terrace with terrific views. The villa is approx 5 min walk from the nearby lighthouse and one of the 3 beautiful sandy beaches, all have refreshments/cafe facilities. 5 min walk to a minimarket and restaurants and 5 min drive to fishing village of Ferragudo which has plenty of shops, bakers, butchers, fishmarket, pharmacy, souvenier shops, lovely square which is surrounded by cafes where locals and visitors all meet for their coffee and chat. Ideal location to holiday with lots to do nearby. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the excellent courses nearby including the championship course Penina. Surfing, walking, fishing. Excellent sandy beaches Pintadinho, Caneiros, Priah de Molhe are just 3 nearby.

Outside
Outside the villa has a private pretty garden with lovely sea views, various patio areas around the house, patio table and parasol, 8 garden chairs, 2 sun loungers, very private roof top balcony with excellent sea views.
Coast/Beach
The villa is situated in a lovely area close to the lighthouse which is approximately 5 mins walk away. The closest beach Pintadinho is next to the lighthouse, a beautiful sandy beach with gorgeous golden rock formations/caves in which you can shelter from the sun. The beach has refreshment facilities.
Another popular beach close by is Caneiros which has a childrens play area, volleyball and a good restaurant/cafe. There are many excellent beaches in this area all close by.
Golf
The algarve is well known for its year round warm climate which makes it a popular destination for golfers. The villa is well located for golf enthusiasts being close to several excellent golf courses in the area, one being the championship Le Meridien Penina course in Portimao(few minutes drive) and the Gramacho course in between Ferragudo and Carvoeiro.
Travel
Nearest airport is Faro at 65 kilometres. Nearest railway station is Estombar at 5 kilometres. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
The villa is situated in a peaceful area but has facilities within walking distance, 5 mins away there is a minimarket and several restaurants. The charming fishing village of Ferragudo is 5 mins away by car and has bakeries, pharmacy, fishmarket, souvenier shops etc everything you need, good cafe's and an attractive square in which to have an excellent cup of coffee.
Further details
Ferragudo has good restaurants, especially for fresh fish where you can enjoy the catch of the day whilst watching the sun go down on the harbourside.
Portimao is a bustling town on the coast just a few mins away in the car where you can enjoy boat trips from the marinas or if you like shopping it has shops to cater for everyone.
For family days out Zoomarine approx 20 min drive is a particularly enjoyable experience where you can swim/interact with dolphins. There are also a slide and splash water park nearby.

Prices are per property not per person. 25% deposit (non refundable) is required to secure booking reservation with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure date. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of departure date the full amount is due on reservation. Refundable security deposit payable on arrival to property management representative.
