The apartment is on the top floor of a three-story block of twelve apartments and is served by a lift. It is comfortably furnished, has sea views and overlooks a courtyard and gardens. The apartment is situated near the centre of Vilamoura and is ideal for family or golfing holidays.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Discounts: 5% for 2-week stays, 10% for lets over 1 month & 20% for lets over 2 months. A refundable deposit of £50 is required in advance to cover any damages. There is a cancellation fee of £50 for all cancellations.
Changeover day
Saturday is our preferred arrival day in the peak season. October to March is more flexible. Outgoing guests are requested to vacate the premises by 10am and the apartment is available at 2pm for incoming guests.

The balcony runs the length of the apartment and has sea views. There is a patio table and chairs; it is ideal for sitting out with your feet up, a drink and watching the sun go down. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are provided and are changed on a weekly basis, please bring your own beach/pool towels. A cot is available for young children. |
Notes on accommodation
The kitchen and general fixtures and fittings are due to be renovated in March 2007. Heaters are provided for cold spells and fans are also provided. Due to the secluded nature of the entrance in very hot weather if the front door is left open (outer grill door locked) and the balcony doors open a cool breeze passes through the apartment.

Accessibility
The apartment is served by a lift however there are three steps from the corridor to the front door.
Outside
There is a large shared pool, with child's pool, shower and WC facilities. Parking at the front of the building. On the ground floor there is a coffee shop and a snack bar that serves great fish and chips. 'Alisuper' the supermarket is just around the corner and stocks many favourites such as freshly baked bread, well known cereals, beer, wines and even 'baked beans'. There is parking at the front of the building and the courtyard at the back of the building is a safe area for children to play; access to the pool is via this area.
Coast/Beach
Vilamoura Marina is just 10 minutes walk away and is a bustling area of restaurants and bars with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The cinema, bank, local restaurants/cafes, church and other assorted shops are five minutes walk. You can reach Quarteira along the beach where the fishing harbour and fishmarket gives you a setting with a more Portuguese flavour. There are lots of restaurants to try the fresh fish and the chicken 'piri-piri'.
Golf
Centrally situated in Vilamoura, the property is very close to three Vilamoura golf courses – Pinhal, Laguna and The Old Course are all within 5 – 10 minutes by car. Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo are 20 minutes away, and the championship course at Villa Sol just 15 minutes. The contact number for golf fee and lesson discount is available.
Travel
Faro airport is just 20 – 25 minutes away by car and flights are available from most UK international airports. Coaches, buses and taxies run from the airport to Vilamoura. There is an information manual in the apartment which includes several maps of the area and leaflets/guides on restaurants/places of interest and events.
Distances
The centre of Vilamoura is 5 minutes walk, there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. It is best to drive to the beach.
Further details
There are several tennis clubs, horse riding stables and companies that organise numerous sight seeing trips. Sight seeing and adventure trips can be booked at the office on the ground floor of the apartment block and this office currently operates between April to September. There are several scuba schools at the marina that cater for beginners and advanced divers alike. Fishing trips are also popular.
Booking notes
Prices are based on two adults sharing each double bedroom. We offer a 10% discount for long winter lets of 1 or more months (November – March). All bookings must be paid for, in full, ten days before arrival. A £50 refundable deposit is required in case of damage. This will be returned, by post, as soon as the management company have checked the apartment inventory on your departure.
