Outside
Front, side and rear landscaped gardens. Secluded roof terrace with wonderful panoramic views. Outside dining table and chairs. Six sun loungers so know one is left without! Private parking.
Coast/Beach
There are three beaches within walking distance, the nearest taking approx. 7 mins and the furthest approx. 15 minutes. All beaches have golden sand and are a very high standard. The main Ferragudo beach is very long and has restaurants and a children’s play area. The other two are smaller; also have restaurants and great views along the coastline
Golf
Golfers have plenty of choice. There are over 20 courses all within a 40 min drive of the villa. For the regular golfers the are the championship courses of Penina, designed by Sir Henry Cotton, as well as Pestana, Gramacho and the David Leadbetter - Vale de Pinta course all approximately 15 minutes drive away. The more occasional golfer may prefer to use the 9 hole golf course of Vale de Milho, which does not require you to have a handicap.
Travel
Faro airport is 65km away. A car is recommended for your stay.
Distances
Carvoeiro and Portimao are both main towns and are both about 10km away (10 mins in car).
Further details
Ferragudo village -an utterly unspoilt traditional fishing community - is a approx. 30 mins walk away or 5 mins in the car. It caters for everyone's holiday needs with a village square, supermarket, tourist information, gift shops, numerous restaurants and bars, a baker's, a chemist, a post office, a cash point, a butcher's and a take away. During the summer a water taxi runs from the quayside to Praia da Rocha, and on Saturday evenings you will find traditional live music and dancing in the square. There are also several restaurants within 5/10 mins walk from the villa.
Booking notes
A refundable £200 security deposit is due with the balance and is to cover for damages, repairs or lost keys. A 10% deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure the reservation with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure date. If booking is made within 8 weeks of departure date the full amount is due on reservation.
