The farmhouse is set in the tranquil Algarve countryside amidst fig, almond and olive groves, where the local shepherd still walks his flock through our fields. However we are only five minutes drive from the market town of Loule with its many shops and a large selection of restaurants. From the south facing patio you can look west over the countryside to the distant sea and in the evening watch the beautiful sunsets. Faro airport is only twenty five minutes away, as are the beaches, golf courses, water parks and the larger shopping centres. the area is ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching. The owner lives in a separate house next door so are available for assistance if required, although guests privacy is our priority.

We are generally flexible. Arrival 14.00 and departure 09.00.

Outside
Large river stone patio area with sun awning. Sun beds and sun loungers. Sun umbrellas. Outside dining table and chairs.
Shared splash pool 5.5m diameter, 1 meter deep, The pool is used occassionally by the owners only. Separate pool patio with deckboards. The area of the gounds cover 10,000 sqare meters, with figs, almond and olive trees, close to the cottage are plums and grapes.
Coast/Beach
Vale do Lobo, Quarteira and Villamoura beaches are all within a 25 minute drive.
Golf
There are many world class golf courses within easy reach, including the famous Vale do Lobo with its 16th hole over the sea.
Special interest holidays
Whilst we can not povide special interest holidays there are a number of guided walks advertised, locally there are many walks, for which we will be able to provide maps. Cycling and birdwatching activities are close by.
Travel
Faro, a 25 minute drive away.
We are 16km north of Faro Aiport.
The Airport handles a large number of flights from the UK as well as many flights from various other European Countries.
A car is essential.
Distances
The nearest restaurants are a few minutes away, approx 1.5km. The town of Loule with it daily market and numerous, boutiques, shoe shops, cafes bars and restaurants is 5 minutes away.
Further details
Loule has several supermarkets and chemists, one of which is open 24 hours per day. There are numerous boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars in the town. An olympic size swimming pool and tennis courts are available in the town. On Saturday Loule has its own gypsy market. Loule also has its own local daily market of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.
