It has a built in BBQ for those fresh fish or steaks, or you can dine in many of the local restaurants only a 10 minute walk away. Built in late 2006 in the charming fishermens village of Cabanas and situated next door to a small farm, this setting has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The local beach is 5 minutes away and has impressive clean golden soft sands. Private underground parking and off street parking is provided so you dont have to sit into a roasting car before heading off. The location is perfect for access to main roads and motorways if you feel like exploring this wonderful part of Portugal.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in Euros.
Discounts are available for long stay and also for last minute bookings. Cots and high chairs are available for a small fee. There is a refundable €200 breakage deposit payable on arrival, and this is repayed to you on your final day. You will be met & introduced upon your arrival to the apartment. Prices are all inclusive of linen & cleaning. These prices are much less than the complex management company charges.

Kitchen: Fully equipped modern kitchen with cooker, hob and extractor. Fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, various kitchen utensils. Sliding glass doors to balcony.
Living Rooms: Lounge with sofa, 2 armchairs, Sky & European TV/DVD, Stereo CD player. Also nice dining table with 6 chairs. Air conditioning. Two separate glass doors to balcony giving plenty of light.
Other: Balcony has an excellent built in BBQ. Patio table and chairs are provided. A clothes horse is stored on the balcony.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Fresh towels and linen are included in the price. These are changed at the end of the week, but can be changed more frequently for a small fee. Maid service is provided at the end of the weekly stay.

 

Notes on accommodation
This is a very secure location for children. The balcony is protected by railings all around. Both bedrooms and lounge and kitchen can access the balcony through sliding doors. The sun rises at the rear of the property and sets at the front of the apartment.

Outside
There is plenty of parking outside the apartment, and underground private parking is also allocated. The swimming pools are for the guests only as they are in private grounds. There is an adult pool, a childrens pool, and a jacuzzi. Pool side beds/chairs are also provided.

Coast/Beach
The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the waterfront where local fishing boats will bring you on a two minute boat ride (1 euro return) to the beautiful island beach. It has the EU Blue Flag and stretches for 3km. There are changing and showering facilities on the beach as well as a cafe bar.

Golf
The nearest golf course is at the roundabout at the top of the road called Benamor. Designed by Sir Henry Cotton and completed in 2000. Contact details are 00 351 281 320 880. It's an 18 hole par 71 (69). Facilities include Driving range, Club hire, Putting green, Trollies & buggies. A round costs €75 in any season. There are 30 courses in the Algarve. You should be able to pick up a free copy of the 100 page glossy magazine called Algarve Golf Guide in most hotels and in any golf course.

Travel
Cabanas de Tavira is located about 40 minutes from Faro Airport. A taxi costs about €45. There are also regular bus and trains between Faro and Cabanas.

Distances
Tavira is 10 minutes away. Villa Real Santo Antonio is about 20 minutes drive east as is the Spanish Border.

Further details
Everything you need is in the village. Shops, supermarket, fish and ved market. Several excellent restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.

First payment at booking is 50%. The second payment is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
