These beautiful, luxurious apartments, are situated in a secluded complex to the east of Lagos. The beach is a short walk or even drive down the newly completed, in 2010, tarmac road.The nearest golf course is a mere 5 min drive.
A perfect place to unwind as you sit totally relaxed on the terrace and take in the stunning sea views. The apartments are ideal for sunbathing and get full sun till late into the afternoon. Guests can enjoy either the main outdoor pool or the shallower children's pool.
The apartments are a short drive from Lagos, one of the most attractive towns on the Algarve. Where it is well known for its wonderful variety of restaurants.

Changeover day
Sunday to Sunday stay required during July/August. However please contact owners where we could be flexible. ALL other dates are flexible. Access to the apartment on arrival day is after 4pm. Please leave the apartment by 10am on your day of departure.

Bedrooms - Bedroom 1 with king size bed. Bedroom 2 twin beds. Bathrooms - En-suite fully tiled bathroom to bedroom 1, with walk in shower, wc, bidet, washbasin, shaving point. Bathroom 2 fully tiled with bath/shower over, wc, bidet, washbasin, shaving point. etc Kitchen - open plan, well equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils. All appliances are built in, electric cooker, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer. Living rooms - lounge/dining room has flat screen plasma TV, DVD, CD player and radio. A large dining table, two leather sofa's. Other - large balcony off lounge with superb views of beach. Table and chairs. Small charcoal BBQ. Cleaning, towels, linen, maid service - towels (except beach) and linen included. Towels and sheets are changed in middle of 2 week stay. Cleaning will take place before you go in and in the middle of a 2 week stay. |

Notes on accommodation
Ideal for children with even their own pool. All bedrooms and lounge have air-conditioning. Additional cots, high chairs or an extra bed can be arranged at a small cost. Sorry to say but the Jacuzzi in 10H is not part of the rental but can be used if pre-booked and an additionalp payment is made of 150 euro per week to reception. Reception on site with long opening hours. Anything not covered please ask.
Accessibility
The 4 bedroom apartment has parking right outside the building then 8 steps before a glass lift takes you to the second floor.
The 2 bedroom has parking about 30 metre's from the block and again a lift will take you up to the second floor.
Outside
Full reception facilities. Golf and any trips can be booked here.
Multilingual staff. Baby sitting services can be arranged. Extensive communal gardens. No restrictions on parking outside the apartment. There are 2 shared pools each within a minutes walk and both are available to residents only.
4 Bedroomed apartment has a gas BBQ and the 2 bedroomed apartmant a small charcoal BBQ.
Coast/Beach
Meia Beach, which can be viewed from the apartments, is the longest beach on the Algarve, approx 5 km long. It is a 7 min walk and a 3 min drive from the apartments. It is very spacious and clean. Safe for bathing with lifeguards at intervals during the season. Sunbeds and umbellas can be hired. Along the length of the beach are dotted excellent beach cafes and resturants. All reasonably priced. The whole area is full of wonderful beaches and coves, with varying beach and water activities.
Golf
Nearest golf course is Palmares which can be viewed from the balcony, the clubhouse being appoximately 1km away, 5 mins in a car. This course has just been totally remodelled thru 2010 in a multi million euro makeover with even more challenging holes being added. It is a spectacular 18 hole, par 72, 6331m long course. Must be played to appreciate the breathtaking views of both sea and mountains.
Course opened 1st Oct 2010. It will eventually be 27 holes of which 25 will have sea views. I have played the front 9 and the views are spectacular, great fairways and perfect greens. Discounts for tees can be obtained at reception.
Closer still is Boavista Golf course. Just opened in the last 3 years. 18 hole par 71, 5751m long. It is about 10 mins drive.
Past Boavista on the same road is Parque de Floresta a very well know course where David Seaman holds his annual golf competition.
Heading in the opposite direction, east, again about 10 mins away is Penina championship golf course.
Travel
Faro airport 50 min drive. Car hire is not necessary but is recommended. A transfer to and from the airport can be arranged when booking if car hire is a problem. Once at apartment, taxi's are cheap and will take you anywhere, town being only 10 mins ride. There is also a train which leaves Lagos and goes to places like Faro, Lisbon, Spain etc, this can be boarded at the beach right below the complex.
Distances
Lagos is about 4km. Night time taxi there is very reasonably priced. All other places of interest are all within easy driving distance. Cape St Vincent, called the end of the world in ancient time is about a 30 min drive. Its the farthest point west in Europe. Luz, Alvor and Portimao are all worth a visit and only short drives.
Further details
Lagos is a metropolis of restaurants where the food is always good and inexpensive. During the summer there is nothing better than to sit at a sidewalk dining table and watch the many activities that take place nightly in the town square. There are a great variety of pubs and bars, some showing live sporting events.
Varied water sports/boat trips/dolphin spotting can all be done at the marina. There are many quality shops and supermarkets in Lagos, with several markets held in the surounding area's on most days.
Booking notes
25% deposit required at time of booking. Balance 8 weeks before commencing of holiday. If a booking is made later than 8 weeks to your arrival date full payment is required immediately. A returnable deposit of £100 is requested against breakages, call outs for lost keys, etc. This will be returned 1 week after your return from holiday if none reported. We will send written confirmation together with all necessary details.

The new palmares golf course is fantastic. It opened this week 1st Oct 2010 for the full 18 holes and the views are out of this world. This course is nothing like the old one and has been given a total make-over. The fairways are magnificent with views out to sea on nearly every hole and the greens run fast and true. By next year it will be a 27 hole course with 25 of the holes having sea views. As a golfer I truely recommend this course to everyone.
Also in the area itself are 4 other good golf courses, so if its a golf week you are looking for, there is great variation in the surrounding area, all within a short drive.
