Porto = 183km, approx 2 1/2 hour drive from Meerkat Manor.
Lisbon = 165km, approx 1 1/2 hour drive from Meerkat Manor.
Car Hire is strongly recommended.

Distances
Meerkat Manor is a great base to explore the sites from small quaint villages to the bigger towns. Just 5 minutes drive from Alvaiazere and then between approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour drive you can reach = Tomar, Coimbra, Panella, Pombal, (and much more) and there are many rivers and lakes in the vacinity.
