This immaculately presented apartment is located on the peaceful outskirts of Carvoeiro. Overlooking the Monchique mountains, it is an ideal place for families or couples to come to relax. It has one double and one twin room but can comfortably sleep 6 if you make use of the sofa bed in the lounge. The shared pool, set in beautiful gardens, is never very busy due to the small number of apartments in the complex. Delightful Carvoeiro town is a 20 minute walk, or 5 minute drive. The centre boasts a lovely sandy beach and many diverse restaurants. There are many other stunning beaches also on your doorstep.

Outside
There are 2 pools set in beautifully manicured grounds. The first is a large swimming pool with a shallow and a deep end. The second is a paddling pool which is ideal for kids. The apartment comes with 4 loungers and an umbrella for those lazy afternoons. Although the pool is shared, this unique complex only has 16 apartments so it never gets overcrowded like some others. There is a changing block, WC and shower room.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. It has a superb fish restaurant. There are dozens of sandy beaches to choose from nearby.

Golf
The superb Gramacho and Pinta golf courses are less than a 10 minute drive away. There is easy access to all Algarve's world renowned course.

Travel
Faro airport is a 45 minute drive. Car hire is recommended although taxis are readily available. All major car hire companies operate out of Faro including, Alamo, Hertz, National etc. Local firm recommendation on request.

Distances
Carvoeiro town, which has a beach and some fantastic restaurants is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive.
Benagil, which boasts a superb and highly recommended fresh fish restaurant and quiet beach, is a 5 minute drive.
Lagos, a beautiful walled city, is a 30 minute drive.
Silves, which has a walled fortress, is a 20 minute drive.
The Monchique mountains is a stunning 45 minute scenic drive.

Further details
Eating and dining - the nearest good restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the front door. It serves great Portuguese food including a fiery but wonderful piri-piri chicken. Most other restaurants are located in Carvoeiro town. There are dozens of fantastic places to eat serving Portuguese to Chinese, pizza to fondue. There are also good bars and even a nighclub in the town. The Karaoke Bar AND Irish Bar both offer a great night out in season! Shopping - there is a local shop selling odds and ends 2 minutes walk from the apartment, but for most things you should drive to the supermarket 5 minutes away. The Inter Marche sells absolutely everything! Money - there are several ATMs and cash machines in Carvoeiro town. Leisure - take a drive to the Monchique mountains and visit the beautiful Portuguese villages en route. Walk along the Algarve cliff tops and take in the stunning ocean views. Take a boat trip out to see the dolphins and whales. Take a boat trip around the caves and coves of this spectacular coastline. Splash around at the water park 5 minutes drive away. Alternatively, just lounge by the pool and drink a couple of cold ones!

A non-refundable desposit of £100 per week will be required on booking.
The balance is required 8 weeks before your stay.
A refundable deposit of £100 is required in case of any breakages.

About the owner
I live and work in the south of England. A few years ago my son and I stumbled upon Carvoeiro and fell in love with the place. Nowadays my family and I regularly come out to Portugal for golfing, surfing and plain old lazy holidays!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought this place because of it's peaceful, yet not cut off location. The town of Carvoeiro is in easy walking distance so we can make the most of the wide choice of restaurants and bars, but the apartment is so peaceful overlooking olive groves and the Monchique mountains...perfect! It's also close to the Algarves best golf courses for my daughter and within easy reach of the rugged west coast so my son can go surfing.

Unique benefits of the property
If beaches are your thing then there are literally dozens to choose from nearby. If you're more of a pool person then we've got that too and it's never that busy due to the small number of apartments on the development. There is a huge choice of restaurants but the fully equipped kitchen means it's just as nice to eat in...then perhaps wander into town for a drink or two.
