Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with underfloor heating and are fully air conditioned. On the upper floor a hallway leads into the nicely decorated living room with comfortable sofa facing the fire place. Enjoy the sea-view from the balcony. Here you will find a sat. TV, DVD, CD music system. Adjacent is the dining area and telephone. A modern fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, percolator, extra large fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher. An iron and ironboard. | |
Notes on accommodation
Appartments T2 have a washing machine and "stairgates" to make the stairway secure for your kids.
A hairdryer is available in both T1 and T2 appartments.
Fresh bread delivery from Monday - Saturday by order through reception.
Reception area with a terminal for Internet access. Island Café Bar and Restaurant (open for breakfast from 10 a.m. till midnight, closed for holidays 20.12.07-14.02.08), hairdresser, beauty treatments and massage.
Outside
The apartements are located in a well maintained and lush beautiful garden setting on a gently sloping area with an attractive distant sea-view.
Salt water swimming pool (ca. 220 sqm) with shallow end and a separate salt water children pool. The next shops for food and daily household goods as well as a few coffee shops can be found in ca. 800m distance.
Coast/Beach
Some of Algarve's finest beaches are within easy reach (ca. 5 minutes by car). Such as the secluded "Praia dos Caneiros" which is "decorated" with the typical Algarve red rocks and a nice sandy beach with deck-chairs and umbrellas to rent.
The well-known and trendy restaurant "Rei das Praias" offers excellent fish and the best of Portugal's wine cellars. A wider beach "Praia Grande" is some 2 km farther in the west in Ferragudo.
Golf
Presa de Moura is ideally located to combine your stay with a few rounds of golf!. Within some 5 to 10 minutes by car you find Quinta do Gramacho and Vale da Pinta. Within 30 minutes you can reach Silves Golf, Golfe do Morgado, Alto Golf, Penina Championship. The golf courses in Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago region do take a reasonable drive of barely 1 hour.
Our reception takes a pleasure to help in getting the starting times confirmed and offers a discount 20% off the regular green fees Gramacho and Vale da Pinta.
Travel
Faro Airport is at approximately 60 km and it takes barely 1 hour drive to Presa de Moura. In order to most profit from the vicinity and the numerours beaches and fine restaurants it is recommended to hire a car. The reception gladly assists in making the necessary arrangements.
Distances
The Resort lies between Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, in one of the most beautiful sections of the Algarve. Situated on the edge of Sesmarias village with a backcloth of rolling hills, this newly constructed luxury resort (2001) occupies a pretty wooded valley, which slopes down gently to the Atlantic ocean. Due to this ideal topography facing southwest, all of the 40 luxury townhouses and most of the 33 luxury villas have a nice distant sea view. Carvoeiro town 5 kms. Ferragudo 4 kms.
Further details
The resort has a reception opened daily from 09.00-19.00 hrs and sundays from 09.00-13.00 hrs for easy key service, any information about excursions, etc., borrowing of books & DVDs. Internet access for clients available at a fee. In the same area is a hair/beauty salon, a real estate agency and a bar/restaurant 'Island Café' open from 10 a.m. till midnight.
Located in pool area you will find the gym adjacent to a turkish steam bath and a whirlpool. Children's playground, badminton, mini putting green and a small washing facility.
