This luxury villa stands in it's own walled and very safe position on a small cul-de-sac centrally located in the beautiful Portuguese fishing village of Burgau. It has been furnished to an incredibly high specification and has the benefit of air-conditioning and or heating to most rooms, including the 2 master bedrooms, lounge and dining rooms. The villa has the benefit of 2 master bedrooms, both being en-suite with baths (one is a jacuzi bath) as well as showers. There is a further large shower room with walk in shower and wc facilities. The main lounge has been furnished with soft Italian cream leather settees and contemporary soft furnishings and pictures. There is a flat screen TV and DVD system with satellite facilities to catch the soaps and sport from back home. The villa has a 2nd lounge which has a pool table as well as a further flat screen TV and Playstation 2 for the teenagers and young ones. A state of the art sound system has been installed with DVDs and CDs.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is very suitable for children and adults alike. The villa stands in its own walled grounds and is in a very flat area. The villa has a superb 5m x 3m private pool and lots of space for sunbathing or shaded areas too. The villa has the benefit of air-conditioning/heating to most rooms.

Outside
The villa stands surrounded on three sides with lots of space for sunbathing, either around the 5m x 3m private pool or also at the front and side of the house. Equally as important for those not wishing to spend all day in the sun, you can catch peaceful shaded areas for dining etc. We have planted various areas with flowering bushes and plants. The villa is only a couple of minutes walk from supermarkets and restaurants, bars and shops etc. Not forgetting the award winning and very safe blue flag beach at Burgau which is within 5 minutes gentle stroll. We have provided plenty of sun-lounges and reclining chairs for guests to maximise their sun bathing as well as an outside dining table and seating for 8.A sun parosol is also provided to keep those dining in shade if they so wish. Portuguese BBQ now built.We have 8 large luxury beach towels available for guests, which leaves more room for other essentials and saving weight when packing. A large cool bag and ice packs are included.
Coast/Beach
The award winning Burgau blue flag beach is literally on your doorstep. It is a gentle 5 minute stroll. However you can be on a differnt beach for every day of a two week holiday and all of these are within a 15 minute drive. They are large sweeping bays or very quiet and secluded beaches. What is common to them all is the amazing blue waters and stunning scenery. We have left details of most of these beachs in our visitor information book, but please feel free to recommend others that you like.
Golf
Numerous golf courses are all within a twenty minute drive, the closet being Boa Vista, but Parque da Floresta, Palmares, Penina, Pinta and Gramacho are all extremely close and within 20 minute easy drive. We have left details off all these golf courses and contact details in our visitor information book at the villa, or alternatively we can provide these details to you before you travel. With 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, the most in Europe and more than California, the Algarve climate is perfect for sporting or outdoor activities.
Special interest holidays
The area surrounding Burgau is a nature lovers delight. There are numerous coastal walks from Burgau eastwards to Luz and Lagos and west to Salema and further afield. Some of these walks are as little as 40 minutes others can be planned for either half a day or full days. One thing is certain the coastal scenery on these walks is stunning and one not to be missed.
For sports lovers in general we have provided tennis rackets and balls for guests to use at either the Burgau sports centre (within 5/10 minutes walk) or at the Parque da Floresta (5 minutes by car). Also at the Burgau sports centre is badminton, squash, table tennis and aerobics. For those guests that feel like being pampered there is an excellent spa facility at Parque da Floresta where any number of spa treatments can be enjoyed in a luxury facility and all with a 5/10 minute drive. For water sport lovers their are several surf schools in the area and body boarding is very popular at several of the local beaches.
Travel
Faro international is the airport for the Algarve. You can reach our villa by car within the hour from the airport. You can hire cars from a number of car rental firms at the airport or alternatively we can arrange transfers to and from our villa for those that do not want to drive or only want a car for a few days. The one thing that is certain is that once at our villa a car is not necessary as you are centrally located and close to all supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
Distances
Lagos is often described as architecturally the prettiest town on the Algarve. There is the new marina from where you can enjoy the amazing dolpin safaris or the old town which is a miriad of cobbled streets with a vast array of individual and craft shops. Lagos is within 10 km of our villa and is approx 10 minutes by car. Luz and Salema or both within 5 minutes by car and are approx 3 or 4 km. Further west you can reach Sagres and Cape St Vincent, and these are both within 30 mins by car.

Booking notes
We require a 25% deposit with booking form to secure the holiday dates and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to holiday.
