In addition to spectacular golf, there is also the Marina de Lagos for sailing and charter Dolphin tours, Alvor, Portimao, Monchique and many other historical and picturesque towns and areas which are only a short drive away.
Travel
There are numerous flights available from Scottish and English airports to Faro.
Boavista Golf Resort, just 3km west of Lagos on the N125, is approximately 50 minutes drive from Faro Airport along the A22 motorway, where you exit at junction 1 and follow signs for Vila Do Bispo.
A train service is also available from Faro to Lagos ( details available at Tourist Information Faro Airport).
