Faro is the nearest airport, 30 minutes drive. You can hire a car or get a taxi. If you want to explore Algarve we suggest to hire a car either at the airport or at Balaia reception.

Distances
Albufeira is the nearest town 5 mins by taxi or car. Vilamoura with its Marina and golf courses is approx. 15mins drive away.
You can visit Zoomarine or attend to one bull fight at Praça de Touros de Albufeira.

Further details
Balaia resort has its own supermarket, hairdresser, restaurants and bars, health club with indoor pool, tennis courts. There are much more facilities around 5mins from the resort.
