Villa Gaia sits on a private, secluded and elevated site, in the quiet back streets of Quarteira and just a few minutes walk from Quarteira sandy beach and the resort centre. The nearest supermarket is only 2 minutes walk away. The villa has been recently renovated with holidays in mind and is ideal for family and friends who want to relax and have quality time together. It also makes a GREAT place for those who want to enjoy some sunny days at the beach or by the pool and is ideally located for the traveller wanting to explore round. Prices are very affordable.

Sheets and towels are provided for use in the villa. A change of linen is supplied at the end of each week. The villa is cleaned prior to your stay. Mid-stay maid services are not included but can be arranged at an extra cost. |

Notes on accommodation
The swimming pool is unfenced which makes Villa Gaia unsuitable for under 5's.
Outside
Villa Gaia has its own driveway and parking for at least 4 cars. At the rear the private mosaic tiled swimming pool (8m x 4m) is surrounded by a lovely patio and garden and by a nice BBQ area with an always shaded table and benches for those evenings in. 4 sunbeds and parasol are provided so you can get the most of the Algarve sun (don't forget to apply some sun block though!). There is also a roof terrace from where you can enjoy a beautiful view through Quarteira to the sea beyond. The plot is walled all around which provides enough privacy.
Coast/Beach
Villa Gaia is 8-10 mins walk away from the beautiful sandy Quarteira beach - which is a a long stretch of golden sand. Up to you to choose between the quieter end, or you have the choice of the busier end which has water sports and beach bars/tavernas on offer. The sea is flat and safe for swimming. It has been awarded with the blue flag for the last few years as a reward of its water quality, safety and environmental management.
Golf
Vila Sol is the closest Golf course and can be reached within a 3 mins drive. There are also 5 renowned 18 hole golf courses at Vilamoura all of which can be reached within a 5-10 min drive. The 2005 Golf World Cup was played on Victoria course, the newest of the 5. Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are both within a 15 min drive.
Travel
Nearest airport: Faro International airport 25km/15 miles. The hiring of a car is recommended if you wish to fully explore the Algarve. Ideally book in advance collecting and returning at Faro airport. If you prefer to travel round in taxis these are easily obtained and should be booked in advance.
Distances
Vilamoura's marina =5 min drive in sluggish days. Albufeira's old and new town= 15 min drive away. 'Aqua Show' Water Park = 3-4 mins by car. Zoomarine Aquarium where you can enjoy a wonderful day watching dolphins, seals, sharks, alligators and tropical fish = 20 min drive. For shopping lovers, the ‘Algarve Shopping’ is also 20 min drive away.
Further details
Quarteira is a medium sized town which has grown from a small fishing village to a major tourist location. The local golden sandy beach is long and has many bars and restaurants. During the day, there are water sports hire facilities available. The town centre has all the facilities you may need from supermarkets to all sorts of shops. The local fish market and the renowned street market on Wednesdays attract many locals and tourists all year round - these are perfect places to get to know the Portuguese beat of life. Definitely worth a visit. We will offer further advice, help and assistance at arrival to all our guests including a welcome visit to introduce you to the house and surrounding area.
Booking notes
Reservations: A non-refundable deposit of 20% secures a booking. The remaining balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payments accepted either in euros or in UK pounds. A refundable breakages deposit of 350€/£300 payable on cash upon arrival is required. Cancellation: The booking deposit cannot be refunded.

Hi all - My name is Tiago and I live in the UK with my partner and our 2 (nearly 3) year-old daughter. I organise the renting of Villa Gaia on behalf of my in-laws who are the actual owners of the villa. They live only 1 mile away from the villa and are in a great position to give you any assistance you may need whilst in the villa. The 5 of us all love travelling and know how important it is to feel welcomed when you are abroad. We are always ready to help and feel that there is nothing better than seeing guests going back home with a smile in their faces! Tiago
