New for 2008, Parque da Corcovada is conveniently situated at the easily recognisable Globe Roundabout, east of Albufeira. The complex comprises of 4 individual gated condominiums with cool underground parking and shared pools. These privately owned apartments are ideal for families or couples looking for a touch of luxury and high standards. Both immaculately presented apartments have patio doors which open out onto furnished south facing terraces. Both air-conditioned apartments are lavishly furnished to a high standard. They have Sky TV, a DVD player and 27 inch flat screen TV. For added privacy the condos have keypad and video entry systems and are only accessible by tenants/residents. ‘The Strip’ and beach within easy walking distance, the old town is 2km. Airport transfers can be arranged if required. Our two apartments can sleep up to 10 people but if your party exceeds this other apartments in the same block are available through our local owners network, ask for details.

Bedroom 1 - double or 2 singles as required, fitted wardrobe and drawers, central vacuuming. Cot available on request. Bedroom 2 - double bed, fitted wardrobe and drawers. Kitchen - exclusive HTH Danish designed with Siemens appliances. Includes electric and gas cooker, fridge and freezer, microwave, washing machine and dryer plus iron and ironing board. Separate larder/store. Central vacuuming. Living room - Extremely large and spacious living area, dinning table which seats six, sofa bed which sleeps 2, 27" flat screen tv, DVD player, and Sky TV for those quiet nights in. Other - air-conditioning, lift access to underground parking, Central vacuuming throughout apartment. Linen/towels - linen and towels included, replaced weekly although guests must provide their own pool and beach towels. Cleaning/maid - once weekly. |

Notes on accommodation
The air con in both apartments also provides heat, for those cooler nights in winter.
There are safety deposit boxes/safes in each apartment and also a small first aid kit which located in the kitchen.
Smoking is restricted to the patio area only.
Accessibility
Both apartments are on the ground floor and are suitable for small children and wheelchair users alike. Access to underground parking via lift. Distance to pool 30 metres from unit 1 and 10 metres from unit 2 (no steps or stairs).
Outside
Both apartments have south facing terraces and receive the sun from first ligth to late afternoon. Rattan designer patio furniture and sun loungers and parasol included.
Coast/Beach
Albufeira boosts 23 stunning white-sandy beaches surrounded by miles of beautiful red stone cliffs and rugged coves. The nearest beach to Corcovada is Praia de Santa Eulalia, which is 1km away, within walking distance, but if you prefer the free shuttle bus from Corcovada, will get you there and back much quicker. The same bus will also take you to Fisherman's beach at the old town which is close to lots of shops and bars.
Golf
Golf on the Algarve is world famous, the nearest being only 1km away from our apartment's at Corcovada. Because Parque da Corcovada is in the central Algarve it is ideally positioned for access to all the Algarve courses.

Travel
Faro is the nearest international airport which is 40 minutes drive away. Airport pickup can be arranged on request at 65 euro return for up to 4 people & 105 euro form 4 to 8 people.
Distances
From Albufeira, Faro 40km, Lagos 45km, Portimao 35km, Tavira 60km, Vilamoura 22km and Lisbon 256km.
The apartments are a short walk for the strip (Bars & restauants) the old town which is well worth a visit is a 30min walk, taxi's are available at all times of the day and cost approx four euro.
Further details
Albufiera has been, since 1960, the first town in the Algarve to be developed for international tourism due to its 23 stunning white sandy beaches, to the miles of beautiful red stoned cliffs and the rugged coves. The region was elected "Established golf destination of the year 2006" by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators.
Albufeira offers far more than just sun and sea as it still retains much of a small-town charm. Each night fishing boats set off from the beach, returning with fresh fish to be sold in the local markets. Bars and restaurants still sell authentic food and Portuguese wine at reasonable prices. The colours, flavours and aromas create unique moments of gastronomic tradition, supplying the necessary energy to all sporting opportunities, mainly in the golf courses designed by international masters, and the water sports supported by a state-of-art marina. This is the portrait of an Algarve that awaits you all year round.
Further notes for golfers: Being centrally located, Parque da Corcovada is a convenient base for golfers. The five Vilamoura courses are only 15 minutes drive away. Balaia, Salgados and Pine Cliffs a mere 5 minutes drive. Other great golf courses like Quinta do Lago, S. Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo or Vila Sol are just an easy half-hour drive away. Firstly may I say a very big thankyou to you both. The apartment was fabulous with everything I could have wished for. The location is brilliant and very convenient to everywhere. I very nearly did not come home!!! Billy was geat with the transfers etc. The people in Portugal were very friendly and the weather was great apart from a couple of wet days the rest was approx. 27 degrees.
Again may I say thankyou and I will certainly be in touch to return as soon as I possibly can.
Something more you could add to the apartment mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think ???????????????? several cases of wine perhaps LOL.
