The property is well situated for all activities on the Algarve (such as water sports, golf, walking and shopping). There are many excellent restaurants in the area offering local and international cuisine. The house is available for short or long term rental. Accommodation is situated on the 1st floor up several steps. No smoking inside the apartment. Sorry, no pets. Safety deposit box.
Outside
The townhouse itself is situated within an exclusive development which has a large adult and separate children's pool. Set within well-maintained gardens, it offers a gym, sauna & Jacuzzi, badminton court, small putting green and children’s play area.
Coast/Beach
The picturesque cove, Praia de Caneiros is a 2 minute drive away where you will find Rei das Praias, one of the area’s best seafood restaurants with amazing views of the Atlantic ocean. There are several other golden, sandy beaches nearby offering something for everyone.
Golf
There are a number of top class courses within easy reach of the townhouse:
Vale de Pinta, 5 minute drive;
Gramacho, 5 minute drive;
Championship Penina, 20 minutes drive.
Travel
This development is approximately 40 minutes drive from Faro International airport. It’s an easy route on the motorway with smooth roads and little congestion. Car hire is not essential, but desirable if you wish to tour around. Taxis are readily available at the airport if needed.
Distances
10 minutes to Portimao with its harbour and shopping centre.
20 minutes to Lagos, a larger resort with a yachting marina.
30 minutes to Caldas de Monchique, a picturesque spa village.
45 minutes to Monchique, a mountain town.
1hr 15 minutes to the Costa de la Luz, Spain.
Highlights include Ayamonte, traditional Spanish town or the beach resorts of Isla Canela.
2 ½ hours to the historic Spanish City of Seville.

Good local shopping for leather goods, pottery, table linen and cork products in craft shops and markets. Coach tours and jeep safaris are available.
Treks and walks through the Monchique mountains among orange, fig, almond and cork trees.
