This contemporary apartment was completed in March 2007 and all rooms are furnished to a very high standard. There is a spacious kitchen, lounge and dining area leading out to a small shaded courtyard at the front of the property. The lounge and dining area comfortably seat 5 people. The terrace leads out to the secure pool area with sun loungers available. The first bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom has bunk beds and an adult size single bed. Both bedrooms lead out to a private terrace, perfect for sunbathing and eating out. A barbeque is available for alfresco dining.The apartment is only a few minutes walk from Burgau’s good range of restaurants, bars and its beautiful beach - one of the best in the Algarve. There are plenty of other quiet, sandy beaches within an easy drive of the apartment.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday but this is negotiable, particularly in low season.

| Bedrooms: | Main bedroom has a large double bed. The second bedroom has one adult single bed and full size bunk bed. One bedroom has a fitted wardrobe. Travel cot provided. |
| Bathrooms: | 1 Bathroom. The bathroom has underfloor heating. A hairdryer is also provided. |
| Kitchen: | The Kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances including dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, cooker, hob, iron etc. |
| Living Rooms: | A spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating. The Dining area has a table and seating for 5 people, highchair also provided. TV with basic cable package and DVD player. Selection of books, board games and DVDs also available. |
| Other: | The apartment benefits from a Communal Pool, Terrace, BBQ, and Garden Furniture. Secure underground parking is available with room for one car and separate storage area. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen and towels are provided (excluding beach towels). A travel cot, high chair and baby buggy are all available free of charge. The apartment is cleaned and linen changed weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air conditioning for the summer months in addition to stone plate wall heating and a fire for winter. Electric shutters and an alarm system are also features of this property.

Accessibility

Outside
The apartment has a terrace which leads out to the secure pool area with sun loungers available. The terrace is perfect for sunbathing and eating out. A barbeque is available for alfresco dining.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beach of Burgau is a 10 minute walk away from the apartment. This is a safe, sandy beach perfect for families. The surrounding area benefits from numerous other secluded beaches and coves also within easy driving distance. Magnificent surfing beaches are within an easy 20-25 minute drive.
Golf
The algarve is well known for it's excellent golf courses. Burgau benefits from it's close proximity to two world class golf courses Parque de Floresta and Boa Vista, both are within a 10 minute drive. There are also several other excellent courses within a 25 minute drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro airport which is conveniently situated about an hours drive away. The airport is linked to a good network of main roads and motorways making the journey quick and easy. Many companies provide car hire within the airport and, although not essential while in Burgau, a car provides the opportunity to sample the many stunning beaches further along the western Algarve coast.
Distances
The apartment is only a few minutes walk from Burgau's village centre with it's excellent range of restaurants and bars. There is a local supermarket a few minutes drive away in addition to a wider range of shops and restaurants in nearby Luz (5 mins drive). Burgau is an excellent base from which to explore both the Western and Eastern Algarve as well as the beautiful mountain spa village of Monchique. The beautiful historic town of Lagos, with it's marina, is a 15 minute drive away.
Further details
The western Algarve is an area of beauty, with rugged mountain landscapes, coastlines filled with rocky coves and sandy beaches, and quaint villages set on the seafront or tucked in the hills. Burgau itself sits on the edge of a natural park and appeals to people of all ages. In addition to the attraction of the fantastic beaches the area also offer a zoo at Lagos (15 mins drive), horse riding and two exciting waterparks within easy driving distance (30-40 minutes).
The ZooMarine, is a 35 minute drive away and has a small theme park and aquatic animal show.
Booking notes
The usual changeover day is Saturday but this is negotiable in low season.
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before the date of travel.
A refundable £200 damage deposit (cheque) is also required at the time of booking. This will not be cashed and returned to you following your holiday.

Your place was great. We all felt very much at home, with comfy beds, settees and quality fixtures and fittings. The pool was great and the complex very quiet and safe. We had a great time in and around Burgau - Thanks. Your apartment is lovely and very well equipped. Favourite activities included swimming in the pool (which we usually had to ourselves at around 5.30 - 6.30pm) and generally exploring various beaches.
