This spacious well appointed villa situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the small hamlet of Casais de Sao Lourenco provides a superb base for a fantastic holiday. The local beach of Sao Lourenco is an easy few minutes stroll from the villa, with the picturesque town of Ericeira, famous for its quality beaches and excellent restaurants, just a few minutes drive away. The capital city of Lisbon is 45km away whilst the popular resorts of Estoril and Cascais and the historic towns of Sintra and Mafra are even closer.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Guests may not be able to gain access until 4pm on day of arrival and must be prepared to vacate by 10am on day of departure when required to allow our maid time to clean and make up beds.

Ground floor family bathroom with corner bath/shower over, WC, wash basin and bidet.
Kitchen: Large L-shaped fitted kitchen with granite worktops featuring electric oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, juicer and American style fridge/freezer providing filtered cold water and ready made ice.
Living Rooms: A stunning atrium and indoor garden provide a superb backcloth to the sunny spacious living room which has leather sofas and chairs, satellite TV, DVD, wood-burning stove, a well stocked bookcase. 3 sets of French windows open onto front and side gardens.
Other: The large L-shaped kitchen diner features a granite topped dining table which comfortably seats 6 people.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and bathroom towels are provided - changed weekly. Additional cleaning may be available if required during stay with payment arranged locally.

Outside
Lawned garden to front, side and rear. A rear pergola with BBQ and a range of outdoor furniture for dining and sunbathing. Parking for 2 cars on the driveway plus safe roadside parking at the front of the house.

Coast/Beach
The beach of Sao Lourenco is a pleasant stroll from the villa. Steps have been built into the cliff giving access to the beach. A seafood restaurant can be found on the cliff top overlooking the beach. The tranquil beach of Praia da Calada is about a mile along the road towards Torres Vedras. For the more adventurous the famous surfing beach Praia da Ribeiria d'Ilhas is a couple of mins drive away. Several other beautiful beaches can be found within a 10 min drive.

Golf
Golf is widely enjoyed throughout the region with the Praia del Rey course, ranked no. 1 in Portugal, within a half hour drive. Other notable courses can be found at Torres Vedras and Estoril (25km) or slightly further afield at Peniche (80km)

Special interest holidays
Surfing is predominant in the area with the well known Praia da Ribeiria d'Ilhas beach - home of many world champion surfing and wind surfing championships - only a few mins drive away. Lessons are also available at the surf school on this famous beach.

Travel
The villa is well placed for access to motorway networks. Lisbon airport is 45km and is served by both scheduled and low cost airlines from Luton, Gatwick, Birmingham, Heathrow and in addition KLM (via Amsterdam) from Leeds/Bradford. Car hire is recommended to allow for exploration of the historic surrounding areas.

Further details
There is a small mini market and cafe at the end of the road plus an additional small shop about 300m into the village. Alternatively small supermarkets can be found in nearby Ribamar and Ericeira with larger supermarkets/hypermarkets in Mafra and Torres Vedras. Alternatively designer shopping malls with large hypermarkets can be found at Loures, near Lisbon or at Cascais - both within a half hour car ride.

Booking notes
A non-refundable 10% deposit of secures your booking - the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. In addition a security deposit of £100 is added to your final payment to cover any damage/breakages. This will be refunded within 7 days of your departure.
