The villa is located 50 minutes drive from Lisbon and 2 hours from Porto. (The motorway link is excellent). It is 15 mins from the historic walled town of Obidos and the spa town of Caldas da Rainha. Foz do Arelho (20 mins drive) is located on a beautiful sea water lagoon with excellent beaches and amenities. The famous horseshoe cove beach of Sao Martinho do Porto is just 25 minutes drive. There are 4 golf courses to suit all standards less than 1 hour drive, including Golden Eagle which is just 15 mins. Our villa is newly built and located on a private road within the picturesque village of Rabaceira. It has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and caters for up to 8 guests. It has a private pool, secluded garden with built in BBQ. There is a seperate recreation room equipped with a sofa bed.

Changeover day
Normally Saturday, but flexible outside of peak season. Please arrange to depart prior to 10am and arrive after 4pms.

| Living Rooms: | The spacious living area with open fire, has two sets of French doors opening to the patio and pool. Furnished with comfortable sofas and a large dining table. Entertainment provided by a 37" LCD screen linked to Sky box and DVD and CD player. |
| Other: | Recreation room with French doors leading to pool area. Equipped with sofa bed, flat screen TV, PS2 games machine with steering wheel, DVD, CD etc. Note, the sofa bed is only big enough for 2 children or 1 adult. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels (excluding beach) and linen are provided. These can be changed weekly upon request. The property will be thoroughly cleaned for your arrival and again, additional cleaning can be arranged upon request. |

Accessibility
Easy access on a single level.
Outside
Patio including lounger furniture available. Grass to three sides of garden, with sun terrace overlooking pool, built in BBQ with eating area. Spectacular views over orchard fields and vineyards. L shaped pool (fenced with gate access) 7.75 m x 4 m. 0.8 - 1.5 m depth.
Coast/Beach
The villa is approx. 20 minutes from both Foz do Arelho and Sao Martinho do Porto, which provide excellent, safe beaches with calm, shallow, warm water ideal for families. There are also an abundance of beaches within 30 mins up and down the coast that are ideal for surfers.
Golf
For golf enthusiasts the Silver Coast is the new destination in Portugal. There are a number of courses within less than 1 hour journey. Praia d'el Rey (near Obidos) was voted the best in Portugal by golf world magazine. Golden Eagle (15 mins from villa). There are other courses at Consolacao at Peniche and Porto Novo at Torres Vedras.
Travel
Lisbon Airport - 50 mins drive.
Porto Airport - 2.5 hours drive.
Faro Airport - 2.5 hours drive.
Car is essential.
Distances
Caldas da Rainha (main town) with extensive pedestrianised shopping area and daily fruit market 15 mins. Supermarkets, banks, restaurants etc.
Obidos, heritage walled medieval town with restaurants and shops, 15 mins.
Foz do Arelho, 20 mins.
San Martinho do Porto, 25 mins.
Peniche, 30 mins.
