The apartment is on the ground floor with a patio and grass leading to the communal swimming pool and tennis court. It is well appointed, spacious and tastefully furnished. Many beautiful golden beaches are just a 5 minute walk away. The Ali-super supermarket is 100m down the road, offering a wide range of English fare, including daily newspapers. There is also a mini-bank machine (ATM: Cirrus/Visa/Mastercards) and a lovely coffee shop next door, with fresh coffee, a variety of cakes, pastries and toasties to choose from. There is also a bus service to Albufiera and Guia Shopping. Taxis are also available (details in apartment). Nearby, Albufeira is a 5 minute drive and boasts an abundance of restaurants, nightclubs and bars to complete your evenings. Locally there are several good restaurants and a few bars within easy walking distance. In close proximity you will find many themed water parks, Zoomarine (a large aquatic zoo with many displays) and Salgados Golf Course.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Long term winter lets can be negotiated at extremely competitive prices.

Towels and linen are included. Maid service is provided 1 hour per week, or more ofen upon negotiation. This includes cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge area and kitchen. Washing dishes/cleaning the BBQ not included. |
Notes on accommodation
Check-in time is normally after 16:00 hrs but is negotiable. Please note that if the apartment is booked for the week after your stay, check out time may need to be as early as 10:00 hrs but, again, this can be negotiated. Baby Cots (inc. linen) at £20 per week and highchairs/play pens at £10 per week are available on request. Food packs can be provided for late arrivals. Minimum rental period 1 week.

Accessibility
Approx 6 steps to front door. Once within the apartment all other facilities are on the same level. Clear access to patios, garden and pool.
Outside
Large shared pool surrounded by grass and gardens, with smaller children's paddling pools. Shared tennis court - racquets and balls provided. Outdoor chairs, sun loungers, tables and umbrellas. Gas barbeque and barbeque equipment (including spare gas bottle).
Coast/Beach
A 5 minute walk will take you down to the spectacular Galé beach and its 5 km stretch of uninterrupted coastline (includes Praia Grande). Along from here in an easterly direction are also Castelo, Coelha, Sao Rafael and Everista beaches, many of these beaches have beach bars which offer good food and drink resonably priced.
Golf
The nearby Salgados Golf Course is situated between Galé and Armação de Pera, it is already one of the symbols of the Portuguese golf. The proximity of the sea and the variety of lakes make this a real test of golfing skills, not like any other course in the Algarve it is more likened to the feel of a Scottish links course but with a Florida atmosphere - lots of sun and water. Alternatively in Vilamoura a short drive away boast 6 golf courses, Laguna, Millennium, The Old Course, Pinhal, Victoria and Vila Sol - all easily accessible from the apartment.
Travel
Airport pick-ups, drop-offs from Faro airport can be arranged at any time of day and cost 40 euros per trip, payable directly to the driver. Alternatively if you choose to use a hire car, a map will be provided to guide you from the airport to Galé, which is approximatley a 30-40 minute drive.
Distances
Galé has many good restaurants in easy walking distance. The “Algarve Shopping Centre” is just a 10 minute drive, with shops/boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, 10 pin bowling and 9 cinemas. In close proximity you will find many themed water parks, Zoomarine, and Slide and Splash are just 2 of many easily reached by car (20 to 30 minutes).

Deposit of £100 per week is required. Security deposit of £100 repayable within 28 days of holiday completion. Full payment required 4 weeks prior to holiday.
