There is no need for a car, within walking distance of many restaurants . Shops, 3 supermarkets, bars, gym, P.O, massage, hairdresser, local police station, banks, chemist and amenities. A haven for golfers: having 15 quality courses within 15 minutes drive of the villa. Go to sleep here to the sound of the sea and the twinkling lights of the fishing boats as you sit sipping drinks on the veranda overlooking the illuminated pool and sea view.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds, based on 8 (for people above 8 contact owner) 2 week lets for July - September please but negotiable. With payment a deposit will be requested of £50 per person this will be returned on satisfactory inspection of the property and furniture.
Changeover day
Changeover days flexible, (Sat/Thurs). 2 week lets preferred.
Check in time 4pm. Check out time 10 am. (These times are negotiable if there is no one before or after you).

Notes on accommodation
This is a traditional house.The bedrooms are larger than average with built in cupboards. Single beds can be pushed together to make a double. Early morning sun streams in on those opening onto the garden. Mosquito netting on all shutters but there are rarely mosquitoes. Three cots and two high chairs on request. Child gate to roof terrace. Interesting antique farm and fishing objects hang on the patio walls and inside. Guess what they are.
This is a happy family holiday home. Nothing is modern, in fact it is very traditional as it was built in 1972. It is a place in which you can relax and enjoy your holiday and go to sleep to the sound of the sea.
Accessibility
No stairs to climb up and down as the whole house is on one level. Very suitable for wheelchairs. All doorways except bathrooms are wide enough for chairs. One shallow step up to the front door with ramp. three wide steps from Veranda. Easy access steps to the pool.
Outside
Large terrace for sunbathing around the sparkling solar heated pool with easy walk down steps for sole use of guests. Escape to the large roof terrace with its spectacular views over the ocean for even more private sunbathing. Grassed lawns either side of the pool for those golfer’s who wish to chip over it from one side to another! A shaded veranda for meals or concrete tiled table and benches by the pool. We have a very large "Heath Robinson" wind up BBQ to take about 50 chops or 20 chickens (a fish van comes every day but you have to listen for him, he sounds his horn, or you can phone and ask for what you would like and he will deliver). There are flowers and shrubs and maybe tomatoes hanging from the pots. Two banana trees have been planted but won’t mature for a couple of years. Bougainvilleas surround the shaded terrace for outside eating. There are sun loungers with cushions by the pool and umbrella for added individual shade. Outside shower for after beach wash downs.
Coast/Beach
Two mins walk to the safe, sandy beach with an excellent beach bar. There are rock pools and caves and one can walk the whole length to Olhos D'Agua at low tide & a cliff top path for high tide. Rock pools burst with marine life and a rock pool at low tide for tinies. Surfing when there are waves. On Olhos beach the the fishermen mend their nets. In season there are beds & sun shades. Villamoura and Albufeira marinas are a short drive away.Cruises, deep sea fishing etc can be booked locally.
Golf
This is a haven for golfers and being mid Algarve there is not far to travel to the numerous beautiful courses nearby. There is a golf school very close by at Balia Golf Village, which offers a 9 hole executive course. Also at the Sheraton 5 minutes away. The Villamoura courses and Quinta do Largo championship courses are but 2 of the 15 quality venues within 15 mins drive of the villa.
Skiing
Across the border into Spain is the skiing resort Sierra Nevada meaning "snowy range" in Spanish, in the region of Andalusia. It contains the highest point of continental Spain, Mulhacen at 3,478 metres (11,411 ft). A popular tourist destination, as its high peaks make skiing possible in one of Europe's most southerly ski resorts, in an area along the Mediterranean Sea predominantly known for its warm temperatures and abundant sunshine. At its foothills is found the city of Granada and a little further, Malaga and Almeria.

This is a great venue for girls groups and golfers.
Travel
Faro airport is half an hour away. Prebook a taxi/mini bus direct to the villa,a beautiful drive through the hills south to our lovely beaches.Car hire is not essential, everything is within walking distance. Hire cars can be delivered to the villa if requested. Everyone can bask in the sun while the person dealing with the paperwork can do that at the table inside, or outside.
Distances
Restaurants, shops, bars, supermarket, internet cafe, Post Office, hairdresser, dentist, doctor, gym massage, banks are all within 2 to 5 mins walk from the villa. Waterslide parks, dolphins, safari trips, excursions to Seville, Lisbon etc - all can be booked locally.

Booking notes
Deposit of 50% to secure your booking. The balance to be paid 10 weeks prior to arrival. Check in time 4pm. Check out time 10am. Please be aware of this when booking your flights. Naturally if there is no one before or after then of course we will accomodate any requests.

'We arrived at the villa and the expression on everybody’s face when we first looked out from the verandah was absolute disbelief, the view is fantastic! Every morning having breakfast on the veranda looking out to sea. The villa is very comfortable... All in all a very restful holiday! The early morning walks on the beach looking for crabs was exciting for the children as well as the adults!'
