In harmony with its surroundings, The apartment sits on the east side of the village and enjoys an elevated position overlooking the village. The heart of the village is a short five minute stroll through winding cobbled streets leading to the square and waterfront which hosts a wealth of restaurants and cafes. The restaurants of Praia de Rocha and the marina of Portimao are also accessible by water taxi. Golf courses and a tennis centre are a short drive away. The main beach of ‘Praia Grande’ is just 2 minutes walk away. This fabulous beach is serviced by four beach bar restaurants and a water sports centre. Ferragudo is often described as picturesque, unspoilt, and full of charm and character... the place to live and holiday.

Accessibility
The accommodation is all on one level and apart from one small (3cm) step into the main front door wheelchairs would quite easily be catered for. There are several stairs down to patio area from the kitchen, but this area can also be accessed from the front of the property via the garden.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a 10 min stroll and has 4 restaurants. There are many other beaches within a 5-10 min drive.
Golf
There are 2 very good golf courses within a 5 min drive.
Travel
Faro is the nearest airport at 45km, car hire is recommended for sight seeing, but not essential.
Distances
There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a 5-10 min walk from the apartment, also a bank, post office, internet cafe all within easy walking. There is a Zoo at 20km, a Water Park at 4km and lots of other beaches if you have a car.
