The nearest beach is a short walk away through the village (Burgau). For golfers, there are several golf courses within a 15-20 minutes drive. For those who enjoy walking, this is a fantastic area for walks along the stunning coastline. The village of Burgau is approximately 10km west from Lagos, and about 1 hour from Faro airport. Burgau is a popular holiday destination for families, and is ideal for those with young children. Also ideal for winter stays, with heating throughout.

Notes on accommodation
Apartments RBUR01 and RBUR02 have a drinks fridge in utility room leading out to roof terrace. Also, both apartments have a tumble dryer in the utility room. All apartments have a hair dryer for the use of guests. All apartments have secure basement parking with direct access to accommodation.
Smoking is not permitted inside any of the apartments.
Apartment RBUR03 only: no children under 14 years of age please.
Accessibility
Apartments RBUR01, RBUR02, RBUR04 are all located on the first floor, accessible via stairs.
Apartment RBUR03 is on the ground floor (raised), and has some steps up to it.
Outside
Apartments RBUR01, RBUR02, RBUR04 all have very large, private roof terraces with stunning views of the village of Burgau, the ocean, and countryside and all equipped with good-quality outdoor furniture.
These apartments also have their own balconies (with built-in barbecues), accessible from living areas.
Apartment RBUR03 shares an extensive communal roof terrace also with stunning views.
The resort has top-quality facilities including adult and children's pools, superbly-equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi, showers and changing rooms.

Coast/Beach
Burgau beach is a short walk (just over 5 minutes) from the resort, and there are several other unspoilt beaches in the area. Bugau beach is a safe, beautiful sandy beach with a superb beach bar / restaurant.
The area right next to the resort is ideal for cliff-top walks with stunning views.
Golf
The nearest golf course is at Parque da Floresta (10 minutes by car), and the courses at Boavista and Palmares are also a short drive away (15-20 minutes by car).
Travel
The resort is approximately 1 hour drive from Faro airport (2.5 hours from Lisbon airport), mostly on motorway.
We will be glad to arrange taxi transfers from and returning to Faro airport.
We can also arrange car hire with pick up and drop off at Faro airport.
Distances
The resort is on the west side of the village of Burgau. This road leads further west to the beautiful beach at Boca do Rio, the wonderful fishing village of Salema (approx. 3km from the resort) and then on to the beaches of Figueira, Zavial, and Ingrina. This direction also takes you to Sagres and the dramatic West coast.
East of Burgau is the popular resort of Praia da Luz (5 mins drive).
Lagos, with its Marina and walled city, shops, bars and restaurants, is 15 minutes from the resort.
