The property, which is located in a quiet residential area of Sagres near to Martinhal beach. Comprises two separate apartments which can sleep 2/4 persons and 4/6 persons respectively. Both have sea views. At the rear of the property is a large sun terrace/courtyard area which is completely private and is for the exclusive use of guests in the two apartments. Satellite TV is available in both apartments (either UK Sky or the European Astra B satellite by arrangement).

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Discounted prices on application for lets of one month or longer between November and April. 10% discount on combined rental price when booking both apartments together for the same dates.

Changeover day
We normally do not accept bookings of shorter than 1 week during the summer months, but we do not have a fixed changeover day, and are happy to accept bookings of extra days.

Notes on accommodation
Shared laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Two free-standing air conditioning units are provided in each apartment. Wall-mounted ‘wafer’ - style radiators are installed.

Accessibility
The ground floor apartment can be entered from the front of the property via a sliding patio door which provides suitable access for wheelchair users. Although there is a step up to the rear door from the apartment (to the sun terrace), there is a separate side gate to the terrace which is on the same level as the front patio door and which can be reached via the owners' private terrace.

Outside
Shared sun terrace which has a number of sunbeds, and there is a built-in BBQ which is also available for use by guests - as well as boasting the tallest palm tree in the area!

Coast/Beach
5 mins walk to Martinhal beach, which is a large unspoilt sandy beach which is also ideal for water sports. A short drive, or around a 10 min walk from the apartments is Mareta beach, which is the other main beach of Sagres.

Mareta is in a cove and so the sea can sometimes be a little calmer than at Martinhal; there are 2 excellent beach bars and there is a concession area where sunbeds and shades can be rented for the day.

Golf
Nearest golf course is Parque da Floresta at Budens, approx 15 mins drive from Sagres along the main N125.

Travel
The nearest airport is Faro, which is around 75-80 mins drive away. Car hire or use of a car is generally advised, but taxi transfers from the airport can be arranged if required.

Distances
Sagres is around 15km from Salema. 25km from Praia da Luz and 30km from Lagos.

Booking notes
25% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance normally due not later than 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday date. For bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday, full payment is required at the time of the booking. Payment can be made either in euros or in sterling. Full terms and conditions will be sent on request by email.
