Casa Matos Brancos is a fantastic villa set in private grounds and a picturesque location, just 5 minutes from the popular villages and beautiful beaches of Praia da Luz and Burgau. The historic Town of Lagos is a 10 minute drive.The villa boasts one of the largest heated private pools in the Algarve, it's own putting green and private all weather tennis court. There is a very large covered area poolside with built in BBQ and outdoor dining facilities for 12 people. Just inside from the pool terrace is the bar area where many guests enjoy relaxing and mixing a few cocktails! The bar leads up to the open plan living room, kitchen and dining room. The villa has a separate games room with pool table and dart board, there is also an all weather table tennis table. This villa is ideal for one,two or more families wishing to share a first class self-containted villa with every amenity. The villa is also close to a number of top quality golf courses and Faro Airport is less than 1 hour away.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds based upon 12 person occupancy, inclusive of pool heating (May - October). Reduced rates offered for 8 or less and supplement applicable for more than 12. Easy payment into an English account in Pounds or payment is possible in Euros into a Portuguese account. Please enquire for prices at Christmas and New Year.

This property is ideal for two or more families wishing to share.
Accessibility
The villa would not be suitable for wheelchair users, however guests with mobility restrictions should contact us directly so that we can advise suitability tailored to the individual needs.
Outside
Very large 12.5 metre x 6 metre heated private pool. Sunbathing terrace surrounding pool with sun loungers and comfortable seating. Path leading down to tennis court. Pool side Barbecue/grill and furnished outdoor dining area with seating for up to 12 people. All weather tennis court and putting green set in attractive gardens. Each bedroom has its own private furnished patio/balcony.
Coast/Beach
You will find beautiful beaches in Lagos. From the 6 mile stretch of Meia Praia, it’s more than worthwhile to explore the beautiful caves along the coast. One of the most photographed beaches in the world is Praia Dona Ana, a beautiful cove formed from surrounding cliffs. Praia da Luz is a short journey with its safe endorsed bay & Parisian promenade, a little further is the beautiful village of Burgau, the list is endless all the way to cape St Vincent (furthest SW point in Europe).
Golf
Within 20 minutes drive from Matos Brancos you will find:
Parque da Floresta - Crafted through valleys and over inland hills, in early sping the area is blanketed with beautiful white flowers.
Boavista - Set in a stunning position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the historic town of Lagos. The natural landscape aided Howard Swan to design this award winning course.
Palmares - Opened in 1976. The course combines links style golf with a slightly more hilly back 9. The first 5 holes follow the beach of Meia Praia. Holes 10-18 offer stunning views of the Monchique mountains.

Guest comments
The villa was excellent; it was very spacious and catered easily for two families without being on top of one another. The purpose of renting a villa with a swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis table and games room was initially to keep the teenagers occupied. However, in reality both families including the grown ups used these excellent facilities in full.

We all had a lovely holiday. The tennis court was great, we had some good matches and the men spent even more time practising their putting as well as playing 4 rounds of golf!

The villa exceeded our expectations. Lots of great additional touches such as having basics in the cupboard, loads of cutlery and crockery, the beach towels, every room having a balcony or garden. Not to mention a really nice and relaxed approach from you both. It actually feels like a lived in place.
