A modern holiday apartment for rent in Carcavelos, a charming little town in the municipality of Cascais on the Lisbon Coast in central Portugal. This sunny south-facing apartment is for rent with 1 or 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. The apartment is ideal for a couple or family looking for self catering holiday rentals on the Estoril Coast. The apartment's ideal location makes hiring a car optional. Carcavelos train station is only 10 minutes walk from the apartment and there's a regular train service to Cascais, Estoril and Lisbon. Carcavelos beach is one of the best beaches on the Estoril Coast and is just 20 minutes walk from the apartment. Six superb golf courses and the historic town of Sintra (classified as a World Heritage Site) are just a short drive away.

Accessibility

Outside
The veranda is the perfect place to relax with a drink after a long day on the golf course or beach. Alternatively BBQ yourselves some freshly caught Portuguese sardines or other local delicacies that you can find at the supermarket over the road.
Coast/Beach
Carcavelos has one of the best beaches in the area and it's only 20 minutes walk from the apartment. A beautiful golden sandy beach with a host of bars and restaurants. The beach has lifeguards and a medical post manned during the summer and is cleaned every morning by tractor. Strong winds and good waves make it popular for surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and body boarding.
Golf
With over a dozen golf courses and fabulous weather, the Lisbon Coast makes for excellent golfing holidays. There are several 18 hole championship golf courses within 20 minutes drive of the apartment, including Penha Longa, Estoril, Quinta da Beloura and Quinta da Marinha.
Travel
The nearest international airport is in Lisbon, 30 km (about 19 miles) from the apartment.
Distances
The apartment is just 10 minutes walk from an excellent train service to Lisbon, Estoril and Cascais, which means a hire car isn't essential. With the beach just 20 minutes walk from the apartment and a host of sports facilities including golf, tennis and water sports on hand, this is the perfect location for your next self catering holiday on the Lisbon Coast.

A 25% deposit is required on booking the apartment with the balance due four weeks prior to occupation.
