From your own private terrace you can enjoy the garden and the magnificent sea view. On the beach of 'Porto de Mos' you'll find some typical Portuguese restaurants. Only 2km away lies the old and picturesque city-centre of Lagos with its fish-harbour and marina. You can find several golf courses nearby.

Electricity, gas and water are included in the prices. From the 1st November to 31st March gas for heating is not included.
The end cleaning (30 euros a one-bedroom apartment and 50 euros for a two-bedroom apartment) is not included in the prices.

The apartments, Datura and Orquidea are named after the flowers in the garden. All the apartments are furnished with care and taste. In the bedrooms you will find two single beds (twin, box spring 2m.). The bathrooms are spacious with wash-stand, wc, bidet and a spacious shower. There is also an electrical hairdryer. The cosy living rooms have all a lounge suite with sofa-bed, a dining area, satellite TV, radio with CD, books and a gas-fire for winter heating. The kitchens are modern and well equipped with ceramic-cooker, oven, refrigerator, microwave, fruit-squeezer, water-cooker, coffee-machine, blender, sandwich-maker, toaster etc. |

Notes on accommodation
Vivenda Johanna has been built in such a way that you need not worry about privacy. On the contrary while sitting on your own terrace, with table, chairs, sunbeds and sun-umbrellas you can enjoy the exotic garden and the magnificent sea view. The service in Vivenda Johanna is first class. Your apartment is cleaned twice a week. All linen is provided (not including beach towels). The towels are changed twice a week and fresh bed linen is provided once a week. Your personal laundry can be washed and ironed as well (included in the price!). Vivenda Johanna has several access-points for wireless internet use (included in the price). Vivenda Johanna is managed by the Dutch owner who lives on the same property.
Coast/Beach
The quiet intimate beach of 'Porto de Mos' is surrounded by the famous Algarve rock-formations and is only a 2 mins walk away. At the beach you'll find some typical Portuguese restaurants with cosy terraces.
Golf
The area is truly a golfer’s paradise. Four golf courses are within a few minutes drive: Boa Vista 5 min. drive away. Palmares Golf 15 min drive away. Penina courses 20 min drive away. Parque da Floresta 20 min drive away.
Travel
The nearest international airport is Faro (about 85km. away). The Lisbon airport is about 300km away. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged.
Distances
Only 2km away lies the old and picturesque city-centre of Lagos with its fascinating fish-harbour and marina. The old port of Sagres and the ancient school of Henry the Navigator near Cabo São Vincente are about 30km away. The Silves castle (the best preserved and largest castle in the Algarve) is about 35km away. Monchique (with spa) and Foia (the highest point of the Monchique Mountains with beautiful panoramic views of the coast) are about 40km away.
Further details
Lagos has 2 daily fresh food markets (fish, meat, vegetables and fruit), 4 main supermarkets and plenty of interesting shops and restaurants. ATM machines are to be found in numerous locations as well as in the leading banking offices. Good health care service is available. Tennis courts and horse riding are in the neighbourhood. Activity parks like 'Slide and Splash' are all within a 30 minutes drive, The Lagos zoo at 15 mins. You can also enjoy boat trips either along the coast or up the river to Silves.
