The apartment is situated off the centre of the old northern frontier town of Caminha. Its ideal position provides easy walking to the central square with its restaurants, cafés and shops. The fresh food market is close by as is the weekly Wednesday street market and post office. If you fancy a trip to Spain eating, shopping or walking. The Caminha car ferry is also near. The River Minho estuary, river and marshes are located on the bird migration routes, there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching and location is ideal for fishing and surfing.

About the owner
Barbara, Charles, Maxine, Caroline and Lucy Small. We arrived in Porto Portugal as a fledgling family in 1983 having lived for a number of years in Cape Town ,South Africa. Charles started life in India and came to Portugal from Brazil in 1966. In 1985 we bought a house in Seixas because of the natural beauty of the area and started coming every weekend and holidays as we slowly renovated the property. Once the girls finished school in Porto and the roads improved we moved permanently to Seixas. Our eldest daughter now works in Carcavelos Portugal as a teacher. Our second daughter helps at home and our youngest has just completed University in the UK. We are now rooted in the community and are constantly amazed by the surrounding area not only Portugal but also Spain-Best of both worlds.
