Rose and Garden Cottage are 2 pretty cottages set in the gardens of a beautiful rural farmhouse. The views from the cottages are over open countryside and from the front of the property you can see the sea. There is a lovely large pool with the same open views. Guests are free to roam around the farmhouse grounds and stables. The surrounding countryside also provides wonderful walks. This is the perfect location if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed holiday but would still like to be close to the beach and town..

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday but the owners can be flexible, particularly outside the high season.

Garden Cottage (Sleeps 2/4, 1 Bedroom)

Garden Cottage has one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is plenty of space for 1 to 2 beds/cot for children. Downstairs in the sitting room there is a large wood burning fire, making it very cosy in winter. The cottage is equipped with satellite TV receiving UK channels. The kitchen is well furnished and fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable holiday. There is a large terraced area outside the cottage, leading onto the farmhouse's large gardens which guests are free to explore, as well as to the pool shared with Rose Cottage. There is also a summer kitchen in the grounds that guests are welcome to use. The stables are a short walk from the cottage. |

Notes on accommodation
Both cottages are cleaned twice a week with a change of sheets once a week. All linen and towels are provided. There is a washing machine available for the use of guests at both cottages.
Location
Outside
There is a summer kitchen which can be used for barbecues and outside dining. Both cottages have delightful terraces that are well shaded and both have access to the large outdoor pool with beautiful views over the open countryside. From the cottages you are welcome to walk through the farmhouse grounds and also down to the stables.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beaches of Benagil, Praia da Carvalho and the award winning Marinha are less than 5 mins by car. Praia de Benagil is a small pretty cove nestling at the foot of a steep hill. The walk down the steps to Praia da Marinha is more than rewarded by the beautiful stretch of golden sand set against the backdrop of spectacular cliffs dotted with caves and inlets. The cliffs above Marinha provide excellent walks. Praia do Carvalho is also a beautiful beach reached via a small tunnel.
Golf
There are many golf courses situated close to the cottages. The closest is the delightful Val do Milho par 3 course, but the Championship Pestana courses, Gramacho and Vale da Pinta are also close by. There are sevaral more courses within easy access.
Travel
The cottages are approx 60km from Faro airport. With the new motorway all the way from the airport, the journey is easy. Transport can be arranged from the airport and taxis are readily available, but car hire is recommended. The owners can provide details of car hire companies.
Distances
The nearest town, Carvoeiro, with its numerous restaurants is approx 10 mins by car. The smaller village of Benagil is less than 5 mins by car. The cottages are ideally located to visit a number of the local attractions from the historic and beautiful town of Silves, to the local water parks or dolphins at Zoomarine.
Further details
Whilst set in the countryside, the cottages are close to all amenities. There are restaurants within a short walking distance. The large local supermarket is approx 10 mins away by car and there are plenty of restaurants in Benagil and Carvoeiro with its enormous range of restaurants is less than 10 mins by car.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the balance should be made 8 weeks before departure. A refundable damage deposit of £100 is also required. The owners will provide further details when a booking is made.
