Clube Alvor Ria is a complex overlooking the harbour in the village of Alvor with a large pool and large sun terrace. For golf enthusiasts, the Alto Club and the Championship course at Penina are about 5/10 minutes drive away. The long sandy beach, which boasts various eateries, is only 0.3 miles away and the fishing village of Alvor, with shops, restaurants and supermarket is 0.3k away. A sport complex with a public indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, and hydro theraphy baths are a short walk away.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. In general arrival would be 3pm and departure by 11am but this could also be flexible but would depend on previous and following guests.

Notes on accommodation
This apartment is new and furnished to a very high standard. It is ideally located overlooking the marina, so when sitting on the south facing balcony there is always something to watch including the fishing boats returning with their catch.
Outside
In the beautifully maintained gardens there is a large swimming pool together
with sun loungers while a 5 minute walk away is the long sandy alvor beaches
with watering holes dotted along the way.
Coast/Beach
Alvor has one of the best beaches in the Algarve. There are rocks and rock pools at one end and a long sandy beach with sand dunes at the other. There are beach bars/restaurants along the beach and also sun beds and parasols for hire.
Golf
Lots of golf courses within a 10min drive.
Travel
Faro is the nearest airport which is an approx 55 mins drive away.
Distances
Portimão is the nearest town and is about a 10 minute drive.

Places to visit nearby: Lagoa, visit the Adega Co-Operativo winery and sample some of their wines. Silves Moorish town, Castle and Cork Museum. Loule for the Saturday market Monchique with its breathtaking mountain and spas. Portimâo which is the second City in the Algarve famous for its fishing and canning. Porches unspoiled village world famous for its pottery and has the first Algarvian chimney. Lagos with its large marina. Slide and Splash is a 15 mins drive. Zoomarine about a 30 mins drive. The tourist office in Alvor will provide the tourist with all information including coach travel to the above.
Booking notes
A 10% deposit will be required to confirm booking and the remanding balance payable 8 weeks before departure.Also a refundable deposit of £100 pounds for breakages/loss of keys etc will also be required on the date of balance is due. This will be refunded with in 7 days subject to inspection by our agent. We are sorry we have to ask but we have had 3 sets of sunbeds/covers go missing due to noy being locked up at night and on departure. Also for long lets from Oct/Mar 4 weeks plus (a discount).

About the owner
Hi Our names are John and Jan. In 2006 we were travelling in Portugal on holiday when we came across Alvor it was love at first sight. The locals were so friendly and helpful. The beach seemed to go on forever and the food was fantastic to say the least.After a week we saw an apartment for sale and being nosey we asked to look round it. Bad mistake - we fell in love with it straight away and bought it. It was the views from the balcony that did the trick it has the sun from first thing in the morning until last thing at night you can see Logos lit up at night in the distant. We are sure you will agree with us.
Unique benefits of the property
This apartment is only 500 meters from a fantastic beach with watering holes dotted along the way. Also in the opposite direction 500meters you are in the center of the village wear you will find dozens of amazing varieties of restaurants and best of all the apartment is quietly located on the edge of the village
