Travel
Faro international airport is the nearest airport, approx. 30 min drive. Car hire is not essential as taxis are available from reception, pools, beches are within walking distance. If you want to explore the Algarve it would be suggested to hire a car either at the airport or at Balaia reception.
Distances
Balaia is set in Albufeira closest to the new town, this is short taxi ride or even walk, I would suggest a taxi or car to the old town. Vilamoura is the closest town, this is approx 15 minutes drive away, there are plenty of golf courses in and around this area.
Further details
The resort has a supermarket, hairdressers, restaurant and bar on site, there are also plenty within 5 mins from the resort, there are numerous shops and restaurants within minutes. Balaia has its own tennis courts, 9-hole golf course and driving range.

£100 deposit to be paid to reserve the dates required, remaining funds to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. Discounts available for longer lets.

Hi Karl, we'd just like to asy how much we enjoyed our recent holiday.The apartment in Balaia golf resort was perfect for us and very spacious. Each room was a good size and had plenty of staorage. It was modern and very well kept. There was plenty of pools to choose from which were also well maintanined. The weather was perfect for our whole week and was the ideal break we needed.
