This private development consisting of just 20 apartments is located in the upper part of Carvoeiro next to the tennis club. There are two swimming pools, including one for children, situated amongst the landscaped gardens. The roof terrace which has a built-in BBQ offers stunning views towards the sea and the Monchique Mountains. There are a number of excellent golf courses within easy driving distance of the apartment including the Pestana Golf Resort which has two 18 hole courses, Vale de Pinta and Gramacho, a driving range and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. The 9 hole par 3 Vale do Milho golf course is also located in Carvoeiro itself and is ideal for beginners and families. Additionally, the excellent Penina and Palmares golf courses are within easy driving distance. Water parks and Zoo Marine are within easy reach.

Bedrooms: There are two twin bedded rooms fully furnished with large fitted wardrobes and additional drawer units in each bedroom.
A small terrace from the master bedroom allows access to the rear of the property.
Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and hairdryers.
Bathrooms: The master bedroom has a fully fitted bathroom comprising bath with shower over, bidet, WC and wash hand basin set into a vanity unit.
There is an additional separate shower room comprising shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin set in a vanity unit.
Kitchen: Our kitchen comes fully equipped with a brand new hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. The view from the kitchen overlooks the pool area and gardens.
Living Rooms: A spacious lounge and dining area, both tastefully furnished by ourselves during 2005. There are 2 sofas (one is a sofa bed), dining table and chairs, coffee table, sideboard and side tables. There is satellite TV, DVD, CD radio and IPod docking station.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms but the sofa bed in the living room can increase this to 5. The property is well suited for young children as the grounds are fully enclosed and gated with the addition of a childrens pool for safety.

Outside
The apartment has a ground floor terrace and an additional roof terrace equipped with built in BBQ, table, chairs and sun loungers.

The secluded gardens are well kept. 1 adult pool and 1 children’s pool are not heated. Patio doors take you onto a covered terrace with patio furniture and sun loungers.

A gate from the master bedroon allows access to the secluded rear garden for those wishing to get away from it all.
The roof terrace has a built in BBQ with patio furniture.

Coast/Beach
The apartment is ideally placed for visiting the beautiful local beaches including Marinha, Carvoeiro and Benagil all within a
short drive.

Golf

Travel
The apartment is around 45 mins from Faro airport. Transfers can be arranged but a hire car is recommended to explore the surrounding areas.

Distances
Excellent restaurants, bars and a mini-market are all within walking distance. Sesmarias 10 mins walk. Carvoeiro centre and beach 25 mins walk or 10 mins by car. Ferraguda (a traditional fishing village with bars and restaurants) is 15 min by car. The well stocked Intermarche is 10 mins by car.

Further details
Carvoeiro has all facilities including English speaking doctor, pharmacy, bank, many restaurants and shops. Alvor has a beautiful large sandy beach. Several new shopping centres are within easy reach. The Moorish town of Silves is well worth a visit. Monchique has stunning views of the Algarve coastline with good restaurants on the approaches. An early visit to Lagos marina may have you buying fresh sardines for your BBQ.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is payable at time of booking. Balance to be settled 6 weeks prior to arrival. Longer lets can be arranged and costs negotiated. Maximum occupancy is 5. Personal insurance is recommended to cover any losses or cancellations.

I live in England with my wife. My wife and I both work, but spend most of our holidays in Portugal, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We love The Algarve and particularly the area around Carvoeiro because of the fantastic facilities in the area. The golf courses are second to none and many are very close by. There are some beautiful beaches and the area boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than an hours drive away.

Unique benefits of the property
The range of restaurants is endless with prices to suit all pockets. Taxis are inexpensive so you can enjoy the local wines. Alentejo wines are a particular favourite of ours. An enclosed property consisting of 19 other apartments with 2 swimming pools (1 for children). A lovely roof terrace with BBQ and views of the nearby sea and Monchique Mountains. The property also benefits from a private rear garden (accessed through patio doors from the main bedroom).
