There are 8 excellent golf courses within a 20 min drive from Cascais.
Travel
Nearest airport is Lisbon Airport at approximately 30km. Car is not necessary as the train station is a 10-12 minute walk. The train takes you into Lisbon (32 mins) via Estoril, in clean, modern air conditioned trains - which are not expensive & always on time!
Distances
Sintra, a world heritage site is just 20 minutes from Cascais. Evora, a world heritage sit is around 2 hours.
Algarve coast is around 2.5 hours
