This is a modern apartment on a pretty street in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Cabanas where there is plenty to occupy all ages. If you should feel the need to explore further afield the rest of the Algarve is easily accessible by the old 125 road which links the Western coast to the Spanish border only 20 minutes away, by the new motorway or by train from nearby Conceicao. Tavira, one of the Algarve's most beautiful towns, is only a few miles away. Or you may prefer to relax on the balcony, the barbecue sizzling, watching the sunlight playing on the water.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday. The apartment is available from 2pm on day of arrival and is to be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. It may be possible to negotiate other changeover days on request.

Outside
The balcony wraps around 2 sides of the apartment affording great views in 3 directions. There is a built-in outdoor kitchen consisting of traditional barbecue and sink.
Coast/Beach
The sea is just a few steps from the apartment. A 5 minute stroll along the waterfront brings you to a flottilla of little boats which provide a continuous shuttle service to the stunning Cabanas beach for (currently) 1 euro return. On the beach there are sunbeds with sunshades, a cafe, changing cabins and toilets and, even in high season, a short walk brings you to long stretches of almost empty sands fringed with clear blue green seas.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses within easy reach. The closest, Benamor, only a 5 minute drive from the apartment. It is a par 71 course and enjoys splendid views of the hills and coastline. There are 2 other courses within a 10 minute drive - Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima - both of which are par 72 and also having striking views of mountains and coast.
Travel
Cabanas is about a 40 minute drive from Faro airport. Taxis are available costing approximately 45 euros.
The local train station is within walking distance and serves the whole of the Algarve coast. Buses also run from Cabanas to Faro and Tavira.
Further details
Cabanas has numerous cafes, bars and restaurants some of which serve until very late at night. There is a daily fish and vegetable market and local butchers, supermarkets, post office bank and ATM machine all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment.
There are facilities to learn windsurfing or kite surfing and excursions can be booked to local attractions, water parks, etc.
Booking notes
Booking is accepted on receipt of a 20% non-returnable deposit, with full payment being payable in advance. An additional 100 Euro returnable deposit for breakages is required.
