This apartment with plenty of light, has the advantage of featuring a fantastic roof terrace which in theory is communal, but in fact not used by any of the other inhabitants of the building, so practically speaking private for this top floor. Easy stairs or the lift will take you there for your day in the sun, with or without your favourite drink. Amazing views over Cascais and the sea. The location of this apartment is very convenient, everything within walking distance, including the coast, supermarket, bakery, ATM, town centre, and the station if you like to take the train to Lisbon, which is 30km away. Reaching the town centre by bus is simple. You can catch service 416 from Avenida Cabral (the street opposite the apartment) or the "Buscas" service from Rua Pero d' Alenquer opposite the site of the former bullring, a 5 minute walk away. This bus will drop you right outside the train station. Trains into Lisbon run every 20 minutes.

Cascais Tourist Information Centre is on Rua Visconde da Luz 14, Cascais. Tel: 214 868204. Open from 9am to 7pm Mondays to Saturdays from Sept to June and until 8pm from July to August. Sundays open from 10am to 6pm. It's an excellent tourist info centre this one, with good maps both for the Estoril coast area and for Lisbon city centre.
Great urban beaches combine here with a choice of Cascais cultural centres and museums. Fishing is still strong here, and Cascais is a centre for sailing, with regattas and sailing competitions held here. Guest comments
Both Margaret and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Apartment 10B is certainly the nicest apartment we have ever rented, spacious and comfortable. We'll have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friends etc who want a good holiday. To misquote Arnold Schwarzenneger "we'll be back" (as soon as possible).
