Coast/Beach
The Algarve is famous for its wonderful sandy beaches. The closest beach is Manta Rota and is approximately 6 kms away from the villa. Here you will find golden sands, rolling sea and sunbeds for hire. The facilites include car parking, and bar/restaurants serving a range of snacks and meals.
Golf
There are 5 established golf courses in close proximity, and the impressive Monte Rei course designed by Jack Nicklaus is due to open Spring 2007.
Travel
Loca airports are Faro (40km) around 40 mins by car and Seville (160km) around 1.5 hours by car. Car hire is highly recommended when renting this villa.

Further details
Approximately 1km away from the villa, you’ll find 2 good quality Portuguese restaurants serving fish and meat. Close by, there is also ‘Bar Ronaldo’ - an English owned bar which is tastefully furnished and welcomes children.
For a greater choice of restaurants, shops and bars, the peaceful town of Vila Nova de Cacela is around 3kms South and offers greater facilities including a supermarket, buses/trains and a bank. It should be noted that there is little evidence of tourism – this is a peaceful location with friendly locals and very reasonable prices!
