The villa is fully equipped and very comfortable. The ground floor comprises a large lounge dining room which leads via 2 large patio doors to 2 large terraces, 1 of which overlooks the swimming pool and a lawn garden with a barbecue area. Also on the ground floor there are 2 large twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a completely equipped kitchen. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large terrace overlooking the garden. An ideal place for sun, beach, golf and fish lovers!

Notes on prices
Air-conditioning is included in the rental rates during the hottest months of May, June, July, August and September. For the rest of the year heating becomes optional at 50€/week.
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Payment in Euros is considered under request.
Changeover day
All bookings are from Saturday - Saturday. The property is booked from 4.00pm on the day of arrival through 12.00am on the day of departure to allow for cleaning and preparation arrangements.

Notes on accommodation
For the winter in addition to the fireplace, the villa has air- conditioning (heat for the winter and cold air for the summer) in all rooms.
Outside
The swimming pool is secluded, not shared and mesures 10m x 5m. The pool area has a BBQ and for dining by the pool there is a big table with six or more chairs. For relaxing by the pool there are 6 sun chairs and cushions and two big sun umbrellas. The villa is sorrounded by a well kept garden. There are two large varandas leading to the garden, one facing South and the other facing West. A gardener waters the garden every day and the pool is treated by a specialist to keep the water under good condition.
Coast/Beach
Cabanas beach is at a walking distance from the villa and to get there you have to take a fishermen's boat across the estuary which belongs to Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. The journey takes a few minutes and is vey pleasant and relaxing. There are several other magnificent beaches with golden sand near by all easilly accessible by car. They all have the EEC blue flag for cleanliness and pollution free water.
Golf
Near the villa there are six splendid golf courses overlooking the country side and the Ocean:

Quinta do Vale Golf Resort, designed by Severiano Ballesteros - 18 Hole Par 72
Monte Rei Golf Club, a very prestigious golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus - 18 Hole Par 72
Castro Marim Golfe, a luxury complex beeing the Grouse Course, the Atlantic Course and the Guadiana Course. An excellent combination of 2 times 18 holes can be played from these 3 courses.
They are all a challenge to both the novice as well as the more accomplished golfer.
There are a number of other golf courses in close proximity along the Algarve and we can, under request, provide a list not only from the South of Portugal but from the South of Spain too.
Travel
Cabanas is only 35km from Faro International Airport and a few kilometres from Spain. The Eastern Algarve is considered to be the most unspoilt and picturesque part in the Algarve. The town of Tavira, about ten minutes by car from Cabanas is recommended for its historical past, Roman architectures, medieval castle,38 historic churches and its four beautiful bridges spanning the Gilão river dividing the town and allowing for spectacular riverside life with restaurants, caffes public gardens
Distances
Cabanas is near everything you might need: interesting places, restaurants, cafes and even a fabulous daily market in "Tavira" where you can buy fish straight off the boats and fruit and vegetables from the local farmers. Spain is only 25 minutes away by car and you can even plan a day in fantastic Sevilla.

Booking notes
To make the booking I require a deposit equivalent to 10% of the total and the balance should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable breakage deposit of 250 Euros is required on arrival day to cover any damages, repairs or excessive cleaning.
