Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday during peak season. Outside of peak months, this may be negotiable. Villa must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful beach of Rio Formosa is about 5 mins drive away. During the summer months there is life-guard on duty and water sports are also available. Near the beach there are 2 nature trails where many wild birds can be seen. There is a lake also near the beach which offers lake fishing, water skiing, windsurfing, pedaloes and scuba diving. Other beaches can also be found nearby.
Golf
Situated on Quinta do Lago championship golf course. Pinheiros Altos and San Lorenzo golf courses are also within the Quinta do Lago estate. Vilamoura 1, 2 and 3, the Millenium, the Victoria, and Villa Sol golf are a short drive away. Guests can avial of discounts of up to 40% on Quinta do lago golf course, further details on request.
Travel
Nearest airport is Faro approx 20km away. Car hire is highly recommended.
Further details
Bobby Jones restaurant and bar are less than 5 mins walk away. The pool area which also has a restaurant/bar is also less than 5 mins walk. The pool area consists of 4 pools, 2 outdoor adult pools, 1 outdoor children's pool, 1 indoor pool and jacuzzi. There is also a gym, sauna, children's club and a beautician during summer months. A small supermarket can be found near the villa and a larger supermarket is located about 5 minutes drive away at the entrance to the estate where there are also a selection of shops, restaurants and bars. There are also two fine shopping centres nearby, Forum Algarve in Faro and Algarve shopping near Guia.
Booking notes
Deposit of 25% required balance 6 weeks before departure. For booking made less than 6 weeks before departure date payment must be made in full at time of booking. 250 euros deposit for breakages/damage. Minimum booking 1 week during peak months. Weekly rates apply to all peak weeks, no nightly rates.
Guest comments
We have stayed in 37 Vilar do Golf twice and have found it to be a very comfortable villa. Its in an excellent location in Vilar do Golf being located next to the 18th on the South Course, literally down the fairway from the bar, grill and also across the road from the fantastic leisure center. The facilities at Vilar do Golf are great. Our children love the heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor playground and indoor playroom. These indoor areas are fantastic when it rains. There are 3 other outdoor pools and an indoor gym. Vilar do Golf and indeed the entire Quinta do Lago complex are extremely safe and very well maintained. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday. The beaches, restaurants, golf and shopping are all 1st class.

We have stayed at Vilar do Golf on many occassions and are used to this type of villa which is reasonably spacious, well equiped and maintained. Without doubt though this villa has one of the best locations on the complex. R. Smith
