This beautiful and popular villa is situated in an elevated position behind the lovely long sandy Meia Praia beach near Lagos. It is about a 3-minute drive to the beach or the town. The Lagos Marina with lots of cafés and restaurants is at the end of the lane, about a 15 minutes walk, and a further 5 minutes will take you across the pedestrian bridge over the river to the main Lagos esplanade. This walk is not suitable for pushchairs or the very young. The nearest golf course, the links course at Palmares, is perhaps a 10 minute drive; Boa Vista is just the other side of Lagos town and a further 2 courses, tennis courts and riding stables are all within 30 minutes by car. The villa is spacious and airy and has been furnished and equipped to a good standard. The half acre of garden is large, mature and well tended.

We prefer the change over day on a Thursday but this maybe relaxed in low seasons.

Main bedroom on first floor with full bathroom en-suite, large terrace and views to the sea.
On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one en-suite bathroom and an extra shower room. |

Main en-suite bathroom has bath tub and separate shower unit, double basins, bidet and loo.
Second en-suite bathroom has a bath tub with shower fitting, double basins, bidet and loo.
The shower room has a small shower cubicle, basin and loo. |
| Kitchen: |
The fitted kitchen has a split-level cooker with electric oven and gas/electric hob, a large electric fridge with separate deep freeze, a microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine and all the usual cooking equipment. |
| Living Rooms: |
This lovely cool, white tiled room has an overhead fan or maybe air-conditioned in the really hot weather. There is a slow burning fire at one end and a wide arch to the dining table and chairs at the other. Both sides have french doors to the terrace. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Maid cleaning service twice weekly; Bed linen and towels will be changed once a week during these visits. |
Notes on accommodation
All the bedrooms have twin beds and fitted cupboards.
The air-conditioning is available in the bedrooms and sitting/dining room at the extra cost of £60 per week.
An extra folding bed and baby's cot may be provided at extra cost.

Outside
The house is equipped with outside furniture for both dining and reclining. There is a fitted gas barbecue on the terrace beside the kitchen.
The blue tiled pool is 11 x 5 mtrs, has built-in steps and has a cover on a roller to help retain the warmth in the mid and low seasons.
Coast/Beach
The long soft sandy Meia Praia beach is only a minute drive and many other beaches can be reached within 30 minutes.
Golf
Palmares and Boavista within 10 minutes.
Penina and Parque de Floresta about 30 minutes drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro which is 45 minutes drive.
Hire car is highly recommended at our villa.
Distances
The well known market town of Lagos is a 3 minute drive.
Further details
Lagos is full of shops, bars, restaurants and all the other usual town facilities.
Boat and fishing trips can be arranged from the Marina.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required to confirm a booking.
The rent balance is then due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
There is a damage deposit of £250 to be paid on arrival.
