Set in its own sub tropical grounds with swimming pool and bar area, the south facing, air conditioned 1 bedroom apartment (sleeps 4), offers a large living/dining room with a comfortable sofa bed, TV, DVD, stereo player and direct access to its outdoor terrace and garden area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for all your home comforts. There is a generous size bedroom with ample storage and 2 bathrooms. Visitors have the added bonus of the use of the facilities at the adjacent 4 star Viking hotel. These facilities include restaurants, bars with nightly entertainment, wellness centre with heated indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, fitness room, massage, tennis and crèche. Guests can either be part of the hotel with its own leisure activities or relax in your own private apartment the choice is yours.

Changeover day
Changeover days can be flexible.
Access is given at 1600 hrs and clients should depart at 1000 hrs.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linens are included but please bring your own beach towels as these are not supplied. Cleaning is twice weekly. Towel change is twice weekly. Bed linen is changed once weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
This resort caters for the very young as well as the young at heart as it has all year around occupancy and is very popular through the lovely winter months in the Algarve. The apartment is comfortable all year around with heating and air-conditioning provided. It is a child friendly resort, with their own pools, kids club and safe playing areas.
Outside
Small lawned area in front of the patio gives a private feel to the terrace area which is supplied with patio furniture. The bar area and swimming pools are only a few seconds walk away and provide splendid sea views while you relax. The nearest beach is a minutes walk from the apartment.
Coast/Beach
The local beaches are within a short walk of the apartment, but if you explore by car you are spoilt for choice. To the east there are miles of lovely sandy beaches whereas to the west the coastline is punctuated by picturesque coves.
Golf
There are no less than 5 superb golf courses within a 10 minute drive. There are 2 water parks (May to October) within a 5 minute drive. Zoomarine, an extremely popular day out with adults and children alike, is open all year round and is within a 10 minute drive. For those in need of retail therapy, the nearest shopping centre, Algarve Shopping, is within a 10 minute drive and has a wide selection of highstreet outlets.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro and it is approx. 40 minute drive to the Resort. Once in the resort, a car is not required all amenities are within walking distance.
There is also a bus service which runs regularly and can take you into the town of Armacao de Pera.
Distances
The historic town of Silves is approximately a 10 minute drive away and has a castle that dominates the town. The picturesque small town of Carvoeiro is only a 20 minute drive and is also worth a visit, its beach is small but ample and is fringed with seaside cafes and restaurants and still home to local fishermen whose boats complete the picture postcard scene. The western town of Lagos is approx a 40 minute drive and has a quaint old town and a modern Marina area.
Further details
The adjoining hotel is always at hand to help with excursions, and tourist information. There is a supermarket approx. 10 minute walk away and a smaller mini-market for basics a little closer. In addition to the bars and restaurants within the resort, there are a number of highly recommended restaurants within easy walking distance of the apartment offering both traditional Portuguese and international quisine. If you prefer typical British food, the Waterdog Pub in Armacao de Pera, offers an interesting selection.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required within one week of a confirmed booking and the 70% balance is required no later than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. In the case of a late booking then the full amount is payable on confirmation of the booking.
Payment can be made either by a Sterling cheque or by bank transfer.
