This is a luxury 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor with a balcony at the front and a large terrace at the rear. It is situated in an enclosed condominium with a swimming pool, children's play area and a barbecue. The sea is 200m away with the nearest beach approximately 500m, however, the main beach, for most activities, is about 1km. The centre of Peniche, with its cafes and restaurants, is also about a kilometre. Peniche is known for its recreational activities and sports such as surfing, windsurfing or kite surfing, with Praia do Baleal only a 10 minute drive away. Peniche, has a harbour, chapels and large sand beaches. Nearby are 4 golf courses, Botado, Golden Eagle, Vimeiro and the championship course at Praia del Rey. Historians will also find things of interest in, for example, Obidos and Torres Vedras. Lisbon is a 1 hour drive south and Oporto a 2 hour north, both of these cities' airports being served by budget airlines.

Outside

Coast/Beach
There are several beaches a short drive away, Baleal, Praia D'el Rey and Consolacao.
Golf
The course at Botado is only nine holes but looks pretty tricky and is likely to appeal to a weekend golfer.
The Praia D'el Rai course is a championship course and is likely to appeal more to a low handicap player.
The course at Rio Maior. There are a lot of strategically placed bunkers so would make a good "thinking man's course".
The Vimeiro course is on two slopes of a valley and is likely to be a bit hilly. It looks a gentle course in the pictures but I would be willing to bet that it's deceptively difficult.
